Carrington and Gilmour agreed to brief the press that it was her triumph - a compromise, funny enough, designed to avoid them resigning or her resigning. It wasn't her taking credit, as such. I like Gilmour's "had we been bailoiffs come to take away the furniture we would have been more cordially received"!
She was probably referring to two articles in the editorial. But it turned into an unwitting double entendre because page 3 in the Sun newspaper shows topless women.
