Dark skin helps protect against skin cancer that develops as a result of ultraviolet light radiation, causing mutations in the skin. Dark skin prevents an essential B vitamin, folate from being destroyed.White Australians have some of the highest rates of skin cancer as evidence of this expectation.Remember that Black people tend to be stronger too(boxing, american football, basketball, soccer, track n field)
Evidence from sports suggests that Darker people recover faster from injury
I am sorry to say but the comments on this video regarding brazilian racism and shock over Obama's election are totally misguided. Most people in Brazil even are surprised by the the USA's media making it such a big deal that he is black. Albeit it is true that racism does persist in Brazil particularly regarding treatment at high positions in government and elsewhere, the problem with racism in Brazil is that it's effects are felt but not debated enough.
brasilian jounalist have for instance a deep difficulties too call barack obama as a black man, since in this country for longtimes the main politic of goverment has been the desconstruction of black people and black leader ; the use to justify rascism in brasil by showing the usa a country of racism, just for the black community not to complain for their situation;so now as the usa has elected a black man as president all those brasilian media look like they are lost .
i ll try to translate it for u since i m a african how is living in sao paulo;its a young black and political brasilian mouvement how want to use the election of obama in the states to make all the injust social situation of african brasilian come out.
In fact, the work of racism in Brazil in the deconstruction of the image of the great black leaders was very well done. Obama look like a black president that the media can not erase / deconstruct his image so early. In Brazil, the image of Barack Obama is like a bomb psychological black people want to wake up that mass of blacks representing 50% of the population for words (Yes We Can),

Type "In search of Obama in Brazil" in your google. It's pretty much the same video, just added content.
Peace
