@g1997able Aren't you glad that he chose this role? That it is so much different from his Dexter role only proves just how good of an actor he is. :))
@g1997able He had this role BEFORE Dexter. He chose this one before Dexter even existed. Do your research. And don't you know what the hell an actor is? They don't just play one role their whole life, they play many.
I loved the development in Nate and David's relationship, like at first they hardley knew each other but then came to love each other so much :'( I love this show!
This scene is somewhat a resemblance to Dexter and his Dark Passenger. David tries to accept his demons, while Dexter tries to control his demon. The whole Father/Son relationship is very similar in both shows too.
Great scene. Michael C. Hall's acting only got better in the last season. He really potrayed a man crumbling under his own emotions over his personal tragedies. Watching him having a panic attack in the car before burying Nate was very convincing. He really shined throughout the whole show.
Nate and David are thought-provoking but Richard Jenkins is the force that pulls along the supernatural 'death' aspect of SFU. No one else is suitable for his role.
"You hang onto your pain like it means something, like it's worth something. Well let me tell ya, it's not worth shit. Let it go. Infinite possibilities and all he can do is whine."
"Well what am I supposed to do?"
"What do you think? You can do anything you lucky bastard, you're alive! What's a little pain compared to that?"
The thing about America is, as Leonard Cohen said, it's the home of the best and the worst of everything. it's so easy to just see the bad (mass obesity, corrupt empire building government, a resect class devision), that some people forget the good. America has produced some of the best art of our time, from music to film. some of the greatest tv shows ever come from America (SFU, The Sopranos, The Wire arrested development and so many more). you have to see both sides of the coin.
Season 5 on SFU was absolutely incredible. It's kinda fucked up to me that most of the people seeing clips from this show don't realize how great this show is and how David Fisher is a completely different character than Dexter.
This is the kind of thing you can't do in movies... you need the buildup of the previous 5 years, of 62 episodes to get to this point... the point of redemption and self-forgiveness. A defining scene.

No, hes just a white guy you see ever 12 seconds on every form of media thats crammed down your throat ever second of the day and no other types are shown so of course we are forced to think a man like this has a "beautiful body".
look up "body transformation of a champion" on here then compare it to Michael C.
@whootwhoot64 No, definitely not. He's married. (Has kids too I think?) I've seen him talk out of character in interviews and he's as straight as they come. It's just that he's a really good actor that takes his characters and his craft as an artist seriously.
omg that was such a wierd scene but he is such a good actor Micheal is and this show was ace and now as Dexter Micheal is making a serial killer sexy he is just such a talented actor.
Nate's brief appearance proves that David has conquered his fears and his oppression has been extinguished. You can see the pride he has for his brother when he smiles. When he disappears, it kills me.
goddd what can i say about this scene its amazeing i cried the night season 5 ended i ran to my room and busted out crying this shows so good and NATE WAS there watching over his baby brother and helped him fight away that Demon NATE was still there watching over them there will always be life after DEATH I LOVE SIX FEET UNDER U Will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!

If anyone is wondering the face with huge fangs. That's a sabretooth cat's skull. In this scene David Fisher is having a nightmare caused by PTSD.
