  • Nice vid, but the Iranian community isn't so simple. The islamists are a barely at all visible anywhere, and even though many Iranians are nationalistic, alot of them are more so than others. I would put it like this, nationalists 40-60%, 39% Iranians who do have some patriotic feelings but not much so in politics, and 1% or less islamic, this is of-ocource not counting the Americanized/Westernized "Iranians", who are a small minority nor the Jewish or Armenians of Iranian background.

  • مرگ بر جمهوری اسلامی که باعث شد مردم ایران وطنشون را ترک بکنند. ولی‌ جمهوری اسلامی بزودی سر نگون است.

  • nice research and nice music as well..

  • this was well intentioned. but has several flaws.

first of all there is a clear religious bearing among immigrants, and that is an Islamic one. this is simply because the overwhelming majority of Iranians are Muslim, so the majority of immigrants are Muslim too. Of course the proportion of different religions within immigrant communities is different than within Iran itself, but Muslims are clearly the majority.

  • furthermore, throughout this presentation, you hold the unstated assumption that the overwhelming majority of Iranian Immigrants do not support the Islamic Republic. this is not true at all. To simply ignore this group of Iranian expatriates is irresponsible and misleading.

  • @bozium Most Iranians in American aren't even Muslim, alot are athiests and many have converted to Zoroastrianism. Only 40% are shia muslim, and most of them are moderate, and that's how it would be if Iranians were given a choice in Iran. Any educated Iranian who reads about the islamic invasion and about islam in general will realize that islam is a religion to further the Arab agenda, there is a reason why Arabs went from 2 countries 1400 years ago to 24 countries now, Arabism at its best.

  • @persiandudeee No, that simply isn't true. Educated Iranians will see the Sassanids were on the verge of collapse anyway, because of the widespread oppression by the Zorastranian priests. And an educated Iranian, when they look at history of Islamic scholarship, will see almost all major works, whether Shia or Sunni were by Iranians. Islam was brought to modern form by Iranians, not Arabs. You are free to believe what you want, but don't make baseless assumptions about others

  • You claim that Iranians-Persians were the one's inventing everything in the caliphate or islamic empires, then that reflects the Persian culture, not the islamic one. Zoroastrianism was falling because of fanatics, just like how islam's falling today in Iran and the world cause of fanatics. Anyways, there's a reason why the Iranian people didn't become muslim 200 years later, this generation did so after forgetting the suffering Iranians-Persians had to go through under the muslim Arabs.
