Looks more like a tarantula to me... seems to have chelicerae that are facing downwards while the Brazilian wandering spider has chelicerae that are almost horizontals.

@BigPapaPump9 That won't work. The wasp flies faster than a spider can run and it's great at detecting movement. Plus, if the spider is small enough, the wasp can land on its back and reach underneath with its stinger, from the side. About the only thing a small spider can do is to try to work itself into a crevice too small for the wasp to follow. A larger one must leave its burrow by another way, the moment a wasp comes calling. And then lie very still and hope that it hasn't been noticed.

I thought the Brazilian wandering spider may have too aggressive for a wasp or at least managed to not be on a wasp's menu like many other spiders. Tremendous clarity/resolution as well.

I think he would have actually beat the spider if they had actually fought but, I don't think he paralyzed him, I think the spider was molting when the t hawk found him. Idk tho. You'd had to ask the guy who made the video I guess, maybe he saw it.

Yeah by the size of the tarantula hawk wasp. and the serious poison it must of injected it's larva into the stomach of the beast. It's unfortunate there is not a clip showing the acutal fight or before hand injection.
