I don't get how people keep driving or don't at least slow down a bit. Hitting a dog is more painful than anything else. It could be someone's pet you just hit, part of their family.
Why are people arguing whether the dog was being altruistic or not? Something amazing happened here, something we don't even see nowadays with people and you're arguing the dog's motif? Who cares? That dog has more compassion and care than many of the people around the world, so take it as a lesson, become a better person and use it as motivation!
I made the mistake of reading a few so called comments
and the level of intellect, awareness, sensitivity, appreciation for life and compassion were non existent. Not one would have done what that done did.
One reason is because dogs don't lose touch with their hearts, they don't scramble their brains with street drugs, and they do have morals and values that can't be compromised. Idiotic retorts for my speaking the bunt truth will not be read.

Also, it is very dangerous to swerve on the highway, as you could easily flip your car or cause an accident with other cars, but some of the cars swerved out of the way.
