They have their own tv channels for Starcraft games, as well as stadiums. These guys earn fame while earning a living. To them, it's pretty similar to becoming a movie star.

Its not complete reduction. I dont know if there are numbers around, but its something like a 95-99% miss rate for direct attacks, and splash is 0% miss.

I HAVE seen a marine kill something in dark swarm, though it was around the edge of it, and it took awhile. Perhaps the inside is 100% miss from direct.

You're wrong.  It makes all attacks go 1 matrix offtarget, which is the same effect that when a unit on low ground "misses" a unit on high ground. If there happens to be a unit where the attack missed, then that other unit will be hit. But yes, full splash damage is applied.

If you were terran, that defense would be a terrible thing to behold. It's like "the great and terrible day of the Lord" (if you're into that) which is supposed to be great for the believers, terrible for the heathens. This defense was terrible for the terran.

If a unit is under the swarm, ranged attacks (marines, goons carriers, wraiths) cannot urt it. (absorbed by the swarm)

Only hand to hand combat units like lings and zealots do normal damage. And any units that do splash damage, the splash damage will still do damage under the swarm.

So if a hydra is under the swarm, a hydra outside the swarm cannot hurt it, while you still can hurt the outside hydra. But if the enemy hydra is also under, then no one gets hurt!
