  • Dr. ball sack is a sly bitch

  • i am sure that in the next 50 years a political revolution will occur too that will change the spectrum of the medical world. this simulation bases the future of medical practices based on the current system, which has already shown to be very poor and biased.

  • this is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen ! It even had the suspense of a movie !

  • critcize the nhs all you like at least its free

  • I'm watching this just waiting for a cyborg Michael Moore to pop out and start talking about how shitty the healthcare system is.

  • I knew those pesky robot vaccumes couldn't be trusted. Look what they did to that poor guy.

  • Robotic surgery, LOL WHY GO TO MED SCHOOL. I CAN BE A DOCTOR TOO!

  • Who thinks somebody will bring Michio Kaku back to life so he can live to 200?

  • It's like Trauma Center in real life!

  • nice dramatizations haha

  • this is definatley gunna happen,....the same way we predicted in the 50s we'd have flying cars and jetpacks (well technically we do but not legal)

  • there's still war going on in the future?

  • pffft I can already operate on a patient without actually touching the body...Trauma Center anyone? LOL!

  • 7:30 LOL, in the world os sophisticated smart stuff they forgot about .... fibrillation or more simplest form of stimulating heart - CPR.

  • In the future we will have more technology, yet have learned nothing.

  • I have to say the story of "The Body" is insanely cheesy. "Come back" *wakes up*

    Didn't see that coming!

Anyway, the future looks fantastic, despite this being based mostly on current tech advancements and predictions. Thanks for putting this up. My teacher stopped after "the body", since it was the only relevant part. Off to "The City" and "The World"!

  • I personally wished they would focus on more diverse health issues, rather than just focusing on one particular incident, such as life extension measurements, cancer treatments, and youth rejuvenation. In fact, everything that this video presents seems to be something I would expect to see within the next 15-20 years; in the next 30-50 years, I expect the nanobots replacing our organs, such as heart, pancreas, and lungs, and act as super efficient blood cells with their own "brains".

  • "Don't give up."

Man miraculously comes back to life.

    "Thank you."

Ah... the high-quality drama of Discovery Channel.

  • i don't understand people who believe these videos, isn't this the kind of things people in the 50s would watch about the present time, expecting everyone to have flying cars and personal robots. I mean i'm not saying it's impossible, but it isn't going to happen.

  • @lupa559

That's interesting; what about this video does it seem impossible? Did anyone 50 years ago visualize being able to access the data from all around the world from a device that is no bigger than a wallet? It's interesting to see technologies revolve in ways that are beyond our wildest imaginations. And this spread of technology will only act as a catalyst in advancing and speeding the technological and innovation progress.

  • The problem is that man will depend too much on machine.

  • why do actors and actresses in documentaries don't go to hollywood. They have nice actings.

  • i hope the future wont monitor everything i do

  • to say when we have this technology we will still use currancy makes me sick when we have the resources to treat everyone with the nessesities of life

  • @nicksyme nothing in life is FREE....

  • Great future for the rich people.

  • House M.D 2057

  • Oh yea so artificial hearts and the ability to cure paralysis.. yea it all sounds aweful if a robots checkin your piss right? gimme a break...

  • shi- that means i could be a surgeon if all i have to do is click stuff and draw lines

  • Because of what this episode predicts:

I do hope I don't live in the United States when I'm 67 years old, and is put "outside the system" for not having insurence.

  • ya seriously is this corporate koku shill talks about it as its supposed to be bussiness as usual meanwhile the poor are sent down to the basement to die while the technology exist upstairs. shit all they have to do i print him out a heart and the surgeon arnt even doing anything anymore everything is almost automated. so why pay such high insurance bills in the future because the fucking insurance companies control doctors politicians like the do in todays times

  • I hate insurence company even more now after watching this!

  • HA! Don't get me started... if you were gored by a bull and they found out you wore a red jumper a week earlier they'd probably deny you insurance. Tis alll about the money for them.

  • HAHA, I get your point however; I just really badly feel like being a bastard, so I'll tell you now that Blls don't actually react to things because they are red, they just react to being taunted.

  • @Socoolscienceshow i dont get why? as bad as money is your not seeing the grand scheme of it. 1 would you really spend 10 years of your life learning for a shitty paycheck with sporadic times you being the reason everyone will blame for someones life or death? 2 would you be willing to dig ,mine , transport, and make all the medical materials for free?? now everything ive said is only 1 side of greed, no theres the other side, the restrictor . money

  • @Socoolscienceshow if we didnt use money lets start with oil being free,.....do you think we'd even still have it if it was free??? or maybe yeah we would, with the government limiting who gets how much. now medical theres people working to make these supplies. now even the machines need managment and how many people you think will really be willing to fix that crap with no benfit to them.insurance companies are a slight break on the limiter. the rich are rich for a reason, you made them

  • to sum this huge ass speech down. the rich are not really greedy, it beacuse your greedy, there rich.bill gates doesn't do much physical work but think about this, without him what would computers even be? its like valuing your limbs more than your brain. your basiclly complaining that paying 50 dollars to get a "just in case" 10,000 isnt worth it.as greedy as insurance companies are, thats more kindness than you can expect from any other civilian

  • I wonder if religion will still alive?

  • no we will have evolved past that :P

  • its cool to think that humans are able to live till 200 yrs of age if they have absolutely perfect health :3 But unfortunately I'll be 60 or so when this technology is available...but its still pretty badass ^^

  • whoooo cant wait all i can do now is wait

  • how is it that there are holograms everywhere, but they haven't mentioned them at all? Perhaps they're not holograms? Maybe their a form of slim, transparent screen? I don't know, but it's interesting.

  • You didn't watch the city did you?

  • Adobe BodyShop cs3

  • Whatever annihilates freedom annihilates the person. Seeking to become gods they show themselves to be devils. Get ready.

  • there is no such thing as gods or devils, after all such words as gods, souls, ghosts and such were all invented to explain phenomena that we could not understand during ancient times, people have always been afraid of what they do not understand, its in our nature, unfortunatly certain people understood this and used this to control mass population, yep this was the birth of cults that later on became religions.

all we want is immortality, or something close to it, it might be our next evolution.

  • @S2000fred Finally more people that understand this :D, I saw this christian saids amen after watching a youtube video explaining a story with no evidence or documentary. lol dumb people these days!

  • i dont want any chip in my body. they can just turn it off nad your dead x_x

  • the future looks koool but i dont like the fact everything is chipped from your clothes to your own body

  • with my clothes and body chipped the insurance company is going to be like wtf this guy has blood type THC. hahahah!

  • Im looking forward to performing surgeries with out a possiblity for error!

  • Ah yes Free Health care works out so well....

    Waiting in line for hours.

Waiting for days to have a life saving surgery.

Staying on the list for an organ transplan`t for months or years...

That`s the life...or more like the end of it.

I`ve lived under free health care...I hate it.

  • It must suck in the States having to have insurance. So glad I live in Australia, free health care for the win.

  • Indeed, private healthcare is beneficial ONLY for the rich. Middle class citizens hve trouble and even suffer in it so how is that fair? The only problem is for the U.S to be able to afford to keep universal healthcare the'yll need to raise taxes. And for many many americans taxes is the only issue they care about. So they'll just vote republican who are against any form of free public service. They rely too much on money from lobbyists.

  • I find it a bit strange that people think they're entitled to health care. It takes work to make it happen. Work from surgeons, researchers, pharmacists, specialists. Not to mention their education. And how to pay for all that work? Either the user pays, or the taxpayer does.

But if you consume more in government expenditure than you pay in taxes, how can you be anything other than a parasite? Excellence has never come free. It costs money, talent, man hours, and so on.

  • @bluebeard2 could'nt have said it better myself

  • @bluebeard2 amen to that

  • @Striden12 Why do you think america has such a large economy, with low taxes and more free enterprise. Go america!.... damn i need a better catch phrase anyone have any ideas?

  • @Blastbox4 Actually your outdated... China Economy is growing better and usa is not... and many other factors, like wars. Obama wants free health care for the citizens but the only people preventing that are the politicians, they don't wanna be like canadians... I don't see why not just accepts new ideas.

  • @Striden12

We'll get universal health care right away if companies start doing shit like this. Guarenteed.

  • Yeah it sucks i pay for insurance and still have over $10,000 in medical bills the insurance wont cover.... and I still have not got all the needed medical treatment. Believe me this is all too common.. The US is eliminating the middle class..

  • hmmm to bad. in my country you get your heart or medicine (or whatever treament you need) it dosen´t matter if you are not inshured. They get there money later

  • @DereBoyy Canada too :D

  • @DereBoyy you can thank the uk for that. HIGH FIVE! Serves the US right for removing themselves from the british empire

  • @DereBoyy i guess i'm moving to australia

  • It looks like they are playing Trauma Center for the DS.

  • hmm i miss the 1990's with all my heart but i guess everyone has a differant view of the perfect world, and you cant stop progress, so theres no point in getting worked up about it

  • The 90's sucked balls.

  • Look man, it is our duty to get worked up over bullshit the government or corporations or anyone else tries to do to us. We will never have to pay for "platinum insurance" or die if we don't allow it to happen. We should be for technology and against a lot of the crap in this video.

  • well i dont want a freakin robot checking my piss for alcohol, to put it bluntly- I hate the future, i dunno looks more bad than good to me

  • Well the plot of this video isn't the future, it's a story. The technologies you see here however are possible and being researched as we speak.

  • i understand, and i dont want to bash the video, it was good. but the future is scary if you think about it, but also this video shows us what we can fix in the world now (primarily healthcare)

  • no one cares about ur opinion u can complain untill 2100 it happining

  • @supmywaxter Unless your Rich

  • @supmywaxter well what makes you think you have a choice? ^_^

  • Dr. Ballsack is pretty hot.

  • lollololololololololololol

  • ha!

  • trama centre?!

  • I've watched all the videos, though some things look probable, I feel a lot of it is too advanced even for 50 years. I'd say this is more like 100 years in the future.

  • I completely agree with you!!! Maybe in 100 years or more. There's no way we'll see this in 50 years.

  • I blocked him for messaging the same things on all my videos. Hes a loser.

  • I allow opposing view points on my video comments, negative commentaries and a certain number of idiotic comments "like the future looks stupid" or something. But if you copy paste the same shit on all my videos then im deleting them and blocking you.

  • LOL first time I saw you cuss in a comment

  • captionpsycho. If you enjoy the past so much, theres a forest waiting for you with your name on it.

  • @rbairos1 we'll see you in that forest trying to survive when all this super smart stuff will be rendered useless by simply pulling the plug out.
