I have seen videos of some cats happily splashing about in a tub, but in those cases, you do not see a human, just the cat in sheer bliss and not struggling to get out of the water. The only videos I've seen of cats trying to escape is with some human who is trying to make "Ooh look at me I can swim with my cat if she/he likes it or not" youtube fame. Just a heads up all cats can swim but no cat likes to swim and verry few would ever choose to do so. If you want to give your cat a place to cool off in the summer get one of those little kiddie wading pools that she can stand in. Put some toys in that she can play with. A lot of cats will stay in the water if they can stand. Then you sit down in the pool with her on your lap and let her go in at her own pace.
