I'd rather NOT see the show get bogged down in network bureaucracy & GeoBlocking.

There is a lot more freedom on the web for a gay series.

There are so many more limitations on network tv (on language, imagery, storylines) things always wind up being stifled & censored on network TV

Then, the only other option would be cable and that would LIMIT access to the show rather than expand access because then only people with cable can watch it. Web series are the future.

I keep loving every new clip, and everything about this.

They're cluelessness and brilliantly OT ideas have me rolling. A dungeon?! Ha! Good idea, but shouldn't be public, no no....

It didn't bother me as much at first, but now with this 2nd ep in the van, which is really just a continuation of the last episode (scene), I'm starting to feel it. Webseries work differently than TV, and to me, there should be bigger narrative payoff at the end of each of these. Awkward Embraces is a great example of an episodic webseries that has an overarching story but has effective standalone eps. Just a thought! I'm loving Husbands - don't get me wrong. But it could work even better.

I'm loving Husbands so far! However, I think the way I've heard it's written - as one full-length half-hour pilot divided into 2 min segments - is starting to bog down the storytelling a bit. I understand the need to keep eps short, but this is starting to FEEL like one big episode all cut up, as opposed to separate episodes each with their own beginning, middle, and end. (cont'd)
