  • ive been jamming out to this lesson for years! nice warm up for me!

  • sike

  • WHAT IS THE SONG CALLED!

  • This is a lesson?

  • @edrury707 It's a playalong

  • Your ride sounds great, nice and dry- I noticed your clean technique crashing it too. What kind of drums are you playing?

  • i'm learning drums and this helped a lot as i counted beats as you played... thanks! and by the way ... Brilliant playing ... made my morning.

  • great toms

  • Anybody who doesn't like this clip either does not like drums or doesn't recognize talent or both.

  • I'm impressed. I never got half that good.

  • Like any kind of musical instrument it takes a certain amount of talent....some have it and some don't and some just don't work hard enough at it. This guy has probably been playing a long time. You don't just get there overnight.

  • Bugger me, I need to practice

  • I've had this drum set since I was 5 years old I took lessons 8 times then the guy quit

  • I just bought my first drum-kit today. Guess what I´m doing tonight......

  • Matt Damon ?! :D

  • Alright, i went from the beginning lessons to this, how am i suppost to play along to this, i aint even started playing yet!?

  • I...dislike that ride cymbal.

  • 0:00 - 3:52 groovy!

  • nice job man this kit sounds really really good!!!!!

  • i got more idea..... more more

  • I like this joint. Gonna learn it this week.

  • Good

  • I need to get this set...it doesn't look too expensive. :)

  • @beatngo710 Honestly, the cymbals are worth $USD2000 alone. Drumming is expensive :(

  • @SlayerPJO Well then...guess I need some overtime at work. Bahaha!!! :D

  • @beatngo710 Go for it man! Cymbals are awesome!

  • @SlayerPJO BUY ALL CYMBALS!!! Screw the rest of the set. :D

  • @beatngo710 XD

  • แต่ตีได้เจ๋งครับเพราะมากถึงกับอ่านถาษาผมไม่ออกก็กดตัวแปลถาษานะครับ

  • งงเลยเพลงอะไร

  • he's hot!

  • يلعن ليلك

  • Fantastic

  • That guy knows how to set up his drum set, none of that power square bull shit.

Completely serious, whoever set up the power square was a retard, how it ever became this popular is beyond me.

  • That is the best sounding snare i have heard in a wile nice drumming aswell

  • @Drummer2849 ludwig lm402!! greatest snare on earth

  • @Drummer2849 most people to our detriment don't know snares have to be tuned regularly and how to do it :)

  • I want some drums!!

  • Hey dude, i will like to know how you get that bass drum sound..

  • the lyrics are shite, nice drumming though

  • Did not know Matt Damon plays drums.

  • ppl who dont like this should be sealed in concrete and dumped in the the north sea

  • hey utube friends come check my videos out have drum lessons and fun drum videos to view,, would be great to hear your feed back

  • u guys rule

  • haha sounds like a serious jack black singing.

  • cool but easy as play

  • Ok that was sick!

  • nice but EASY

  • @EnemyDown619 that's why it's called drum lessons aye

  • สู้พี่ ชัช บอดี้ แสลม ของฉันไม่ได้ หรอก

  • Wow did anyone notice at 1:53 something flies off the high-hat, then something flies behind him? o.o

  • @trickstar321 Yeah! LOL

  • awesome dude

  • I like how the do a seperate pan of his footwork when nothing impressive is happening.

  • This is more like a cover. LOL

  • very clean

  • technically well played, but without any dynamics...

  • This is easy but thanks for teaching others :)

  • @shortypimpo101 haha, nice humble dude you seem to be!

  • were is the lesson ?

  • @TheNitz333 it's a play along, you can download a version of the song without drums so that you can play what you feel. I've been drumming for a year and i've become more capable of listening to a song and trying it on the kit until i make something accurate, or i write down what i think the pattern is, then i revise it as i'm playing. Overall, i think the lesson is to be able to listen to a song and interpret the drumming by ear/write your own music! then bring it to the kit, have fun!

  • what do you do if you don't have a drum set, and your parents can't buy you them because their broke. what do you do then?

  • @ruukugirl find someone else's to practice on, orrrr...save up money yourself[:

  • @ruukugirl Get a job : )

  • @ruukugirl the job comment/save money comments are true lol, but if need be a lot of cities, and big towns even, have 'Music Lending Libraries' (it could be named differently in your area). Where they lend for FREE all types of instruments, the one closest to where i live, lends out drum kits for 3 months at a time. They charge a fee for using them too long if you forget to bring back on time, but it's inexpensive ($1/day late). Look/ask around to see if you have something in your area

  • It starts to get a little boring at 3:52 :)

  • can someone tell where i can get drum tracks to practice ? just drum track without guitar

  • ok teach me to play that =D hah, no but really that was great, hope i can get to that level of play.. very cool

  • what's song name?

  • @BANDITSERVER in all of this by sterr i believe that song is good but you can get the whole album which is pretty kickass

  • he is having soo much fun i wish i could play that loud !

  • I love how to see him smiling while totally banging those drums :)

  • 1:19 - 1:26 - groovy!

  • hey would love it if you post some lessons up.

That would be fantastic and would help me so much

    Thanks:)

  • Those drums sound like pure eargasm... And the player makes honor to that kit!

  • it said lesson not dont even try cause i have a flat top and am better then you will evr be

  • Everybody is always saying: i play like*blabla* years, so i'm good... And that's bullshit, 'cause, I know lots of guys who play like 8 years and cannot even hold rythm..

Just sayin'.. years doesn't mean experience

  • @UnFriendlyDeath666 I agree, a friend of mine learned the Enter Sandman drums in like a month without any experience before that, seriously....

  • @UnFriendlyDeath666 : So true... But that's because the first thing you're asked when you tell people that you play an instrument is how long you've been playing. Actually apart from hearing you, its the only way to know how skilled you might be.

But I've often seen guys who have been playing the guitar for over 5 years, more than 700$ worth of gear+a guitar teacher... and yet they can barely play a solo without major flaws.

  • I love you ♥.♥

  • sick drumming skills man, hope one day i can get that good!

  • hell yeah!

  • esto es realmente impresionate pues muy bien por el baterista como se llama la cancion quie la canta pues

  • amazing cover, love it so much

  • @NickWishesHeWasCool

actually it's no cover due to his band originally playing that song ;)

  • @Dirtdevil131 amazing cover of his own song then LOL

  • @NickWishesHeWasCool I definitely agree :)

  • Inspirational, Truly.

  • DUDE, MARRY ME! You're awesome!

  • the tittle of the song is "IN ALL OF THIS" and the band name is STERR..........

  • what is the name of this song??

  • REALLY, REALLY great sounds.

  • whick kit is ?

  • awesome man though personally id have done more of a flam lick kinda thing at the start on the toms but each to his own and that =D

  • is this 4/4?

i mean bu the melodic could be counted like 8/4

    i guess...

    just a weird question

  • i like it but no offense you ride sounds not so good

  • Good Jop..

  • that drumset is so fucking tight! and you play very good too!!

  • omg what is the name of the song its awesome?

  • SABIAN FTW!

  • dude you kick ass.

  • so smooth with the fills man, great work.

  • NICE IF I HAD A BEE'S DICK OF YOUR TALENT I WOULD BE HAPPY

  • @busawez Talent here is the less important than hardwork,

And I just can't believe that 61 people play much better than Dean(gus who dislike)

  • @busawez ?

  • @busawez Are you kidding me?! He just has a lotta symbols and double foot pedals to play on! This could be learned in about 3-4 hours of straight listening and playing. I just dont have the stuff like him cuz im broke...

  • AWESOME WORK!!

  • good but gay hair song and yeah

  • Gooooodddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ride sounds like shit...

  • this drum set sounds awesome :O

  • What a great contribute this site offers to the ones (like me) that want to lear how to play drums. Thank you very much.

  • what kind of ride does he use??? can somebody write back plz

  • @TheOUTSider013 Sabian HHX Legacy / Evolution i forgot

  • i love that crash above his ride, what is it?

  • @pokemetalfan That looks like a Sabian HHX Evolution crash. If I were to guess the size, I'd say 18".

  • @pokemetalfan YEAH SOUNDS COOL!!!!! I THINK IS HHX18 POWER CRASH??? I´M RIGHT??? :s

  • 3:14 -3:16 <3

  • what kind of drums is he using?

  • Cool! I didn't know drumming seems like so much fun.

  • I'm not sure of the claim of this being #1 selling drum instruction. How was this statistic calculated? Were sales of all previous instruction DVDs really calculated, or was that just a blind assumption (or stretch) to make it sound more marketable? Also, the person playing is not the best. He would not come close to making it in the DrumOff competition, so it's probably premature to be releasing instruction DVDs. Just an honest assessment from drummer of 30 yrs exp.

  • @mgzza Oops, I commented on the wrong video. Comment was supposed to be for: a video titled "Jared Falk Drum Solo"

  • @mgzza I don't see were it says that it's the #1 selling drum instructions, however their claim of EXACTLY 3,598 people using their lessons is kinda sketchy.

  • @Zolofgonnakillallya It's actually much more then 3598...that's just a number that we chose. The Drumming System has actually been sold to well over 4,500 people now but we don't update the website everytime someone orders :)

  • @freedrumlessons I kinda thought that, but it's kind of odd to put the exact number of lessons sold.

  • @Zolofgonnakillallya We're just letting people know that a lot of people are using the lessons successfully...It may seem weird but wouldn't you rather use lessons that other people are using, rather then use some lessons that no one is using? I would choose the lessons everyone is using :)

  • @freedrumlessons lol peer pressure... haha nah jk but yeah good point

  • Good clean sound on drums

  • nice =]

  • love ROCK! i want play like you :)

  • @1schroeder1 your totally right:D

    Loce

  • I searched on the freedrumlessons website, but unfortunately there I didn't find a topic concerning the set you play.

I ask this, because the Crash cymbals on the very left and right are great!

Think they're HHX, can you tell me more exactly?^^

    Thanks and great, musical drumming!

  • whts the song's name?

  • What is name of this song

  • Is Schroeder a nick-name or is it your surname?

  • @TheAssFalcon It's my nickname.

  • @1schroeder1 Ok, thanks. Great playing in all of these play along vids by the way! You're gifted [not saying that your talent isn't your own, but I'd say you get my drift].

  • @TheAssFalcon Thanks dude. I get it.

    Cheers,

    -S

  • thats nice..... really sick beat....

  • niceeeee

  • Awesome Drummer!!

  • i just wanna say that...........youre amazing men......i wish play drums like you someday...........i really admire you.....God Bless You.....=)

  • i just wanna say that............youre really amazing drummer.......i wish play like u someday......i really admire u

  • Great playing! Great drum sound! But there's only one thing that I don't like... ... it's the sound of the ride cymbal... Too much sustain in it... But for the rest: Excellent!

  • Yeah, all the gear was supplied for the shoot. We didn't have much time between each drummer playing to have our own. The ride sounds really cool, but not for the applications I was using it for.

    Thanks for the comment. Cheers,

    -S

  • Nice :D I wanna learn the drums so bad so I'm getting an electric drum kit for my birthday. I will definitely use your videos for practice :)

  • I would say this guys got 5 years + I have only been playing for 2 years though and I can play everything he can cand more so I think it just all depends on how easy u pick it up. and practice :)

  • I've actually been playing for 15 years. But kudos for picking it up so fast. But one thing you should keep in mind is that drumming isn't about how much you play. It's about loving the space between your strokes more than your strokes.

    Cheers,

    -Schroeder

  • wellsaid

  • @1schroeder1 wad's ur real name? i am really a great fans of urs

  • @1schroeder1 That was the best definition of drumming i've ever read :)

  • Practice Practice Practice....And DoThose Rudiments!!!!!!

  • you could start practicing now, take one step at a time

  • How many years experience would this guy have? i'm looking to start playing drums but don't have a lot of info on it and i know this isn't all that basic but just looking at the end results. Which with a lot of practice i guess you could get like this.

  • I've been playing for about 15 years now. I've also worked for some years in a drum shop so if you have any questions about gear, or anything drums, let me know.

    Cheers,

    -Schroeder

  • he looks madd goofy but he's clean and keeps good tempo good pocket presence 2 2 thumbs up. go get em slugger
