Some foreigners wrote the Japanese rape stories in documents during the war. However, these cases were what these Westerners heard about from the Chinese. After Minnie Vautrin wrote it, Chinese officers were caught by police for rape crimes. This story was written in an article of the New York Times on January 4, 1938. After they were caught, conspicuous cases of rape, looting and other atrocities did not take place. Therefore, these crimes were definitely caused by the Chinese.

The Daily Reports of Serious Injuries to Civilians said the only killing witnessed by foreigners in Nanking was only one lawful execution. Also, the IMTFE showed Chinese could not prove the murder of 300,000. Therefore, the Chinese was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the IMTFE has opened. In short, the Chinese had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 300,000 before they began to collect the evidence.

(Part8) The statistics show where the corpses were found and buried. Only about 2,800 corpses are found inside Nanking castle, and the rest are recovered outside, which were almost 40,000. Moreover, according to The Documents of Magee, member of TSZC, referred the total number of looting by Japanese soldiers was 179. He testified in the IMTFE by saying 'the Japanese soldiers took everything away from the Chinese residents'. However, this number 179 was including rumor.

The citys population was 200,000, according to foreigners who were there at the time. TSZC(The Safety Zone Committee) documents read that in Jan 1938 the population was 250,000. Also, here is the burial record presented to the IMTFE (The International Military Tribunal for the Far East) by the Red Swastika Society.

(Part6) The reason for Japan staying in China was the Boxer Protocol which was signed on Sep.7, 1901 between the China and the 8-Nation Alliance which including Japan. Japan was attacked by KMT in Shanghai. KMT shelled into the Japanese camp 4 times. People called this Marco Polo Bridge Incident which was happened on July 7, 1937. This incident signified to open the war. Chiang Kai-shek escaped to Nanking. Thats why Japanese chased him to Nanking city.

(Part5) The section was propaganda section in China during the War. Timperley was paid by the propaganda section for editing the book. This Timperley fact based on the book which is called 曽虚白自伝(Page 201), which means曽虚白 Diary. 曽虚白 was also one of the members of the Propaganda section. In fact, at least 143 of pictures in the Nanking Massacre Museum were distorted by the propaganda section.

(Part4)During the Sino-Japanese war, Chinese victims couldnt receive any medical treatment for they had no money. Chiang said, You can get medical treatment for free in hospitals if you said Japanese injured you. Thats why there is much verbal evidence about the battles. One of the foundation upon which the massacre myth is based on the book which is called "What War Means", edited by Harold Timperley. But he was an advisor to the Chinese Nationalist governments Ministry of Information.

(Part3)According to the New York Times on March 29, 1947, one of the Americans said, Troops from China arrived at Taiwan on March 7 and indulged in three days of indiscriminate killing and looting. For a time everyone seen on the streets was shot at, homes were broken into and occupants killed. In the poorer sections the streets were said to have been littered with dead. 'There were instances of beheadings and mutilation of bodies, and women were raped.
