Plot hole: Scientist shoots the guy, and when he comes around he's like "So yeah, you have eight lives left." Well how did they know the cat had all nine of it's lives at the time of the surgery? The cat could have already used it's first eight.

"Dig" = The story begins and ends with the carnies digging a hole and burying Ulric alive.

"Cat" = The animal through which Ulric gained his self-resurrection ability.

"Gone" = Dead.

Heck, "Real Gone" may even be a subtle hint at how this story ends. He WON'T be coming back from this burial.

Does the title make sense yet?
