me my dad,step mom,sisters,cousins,aunt&unkle go camping up there every year. Were going this week. The place you had your tent was there a hill with a small path that lead to the lake?

Goose Lake has been destroyed by the Michigan DNR. They did a species elimination on EVERY Oak Tree in the once beautiful park. The DNR claimed Oak Wilt diseased the trees. The rest of the trees that are standing, which isn't very many, has been barked very badly by the loggers equipment. The State destroyed this park. What a tear jerker... Gets even worse as you go towards Long Lake.

Mike (and Tim of course and your family)....loved the serenity of Goose Lake - talk about isolation....you guys went at a quiet time - looks like you had the place to yourselves; history sure repeats itself - first Mike & Corb, then Tim & Chris =, now Garrett, and Graham! Maybe next it will be Jackson & his "little brother"...thanks for the kind words Mike, Mom and Dad..

Thanks for the kind words Dave, I feel the same,Tim has some video but is having a hard time getting it to the computer... he has aspect ration issues, he was surprised though to know you had been to Goose Lake and camping with us to Port Crescent and Lakeport State Park etc.... I think Cyndy was at Lakeport too, anyway glad you enjoyed the video, maybe more to come later, Mike

Yeah the last time I went there was with my friends the Loessers back in early 97. Wow! - it seems like it was just yesterday. -thanx Mike
