  • They used to show up on the Steve Allen Show.

  • I wonder if their look was inspired by the British duo Flanders and Swann(without the wheelchair). The bearded one sounds like Peter Cook,

  • I just had to see them this morning, like a bolt from my brain- and I wanted this song in particular. Thanks a bunch. Wack- a-doola. Hickie noola.

  • Absolutely original and authentic!!! I saw this very episode when I was in elementary school. I'd gotten one of those cheesy cassette recorders for Christmas and recorded them and played it over and over... and over... THANK YOU!!!

  • FINALLY! I was beginning to think they were just a figment of my memory! I've been waiting for some one to upload them for years! THANX!

  • Michael Choquette (left) and Peter Elbling. Peter went on to do a memorable episode of WKRP In Cincinatti playing Nigel in the Hoodlum Rock Group "Scum Of The Earth" with Michael Des Barres as "Dog".

  • There was said to be an occasion of them performing some well-known song, accompanying themselves on bicycle pumps. This was supposedly on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. But I too have been searching for years for anything about them, finding nothing until I thought until recently that I'd hallucinated them. lol

  • I'be been searching for ANYTHING about them for years... Thank You!

  • A rainy morning and too much time on my hands lead me to a great video (William Howard Taft) by "The Two Man Gentlemen Band"

After watching TMGB a time or two it got me to wondering about an act I saw at the Cafe-A-Go-Go in NYC a couple of times in 1965 oR '66. And here they are... the Times Square Two. It could just be the passage of time, but I remember them as being much better than the Smothers Brothers clip would indicate.

  • I also have been waiting for a post of the great Times Square Two.

    Thanks!

  • The Times Square Two were THE greatest musical comedy duo of that era. Do you have any more of these clips?

  • @jstc2002

I'm sorry, I don't. Hopefully, more will turn up....

  • Rare indeed! I've been looking for Times Square Two clips for years, all in vain. Thanks for posting this.

  • I miss the Smothers Brothers Show ... and Laugh In ... and especially Bewitched with the original Darrin.

  • LOVE IT!
