Hey, well done... I like this one.

To the clueless: this video was done using the Blinkenlights-simulator, which is ... umm ... err... deploying a static image to display moving content within. Hence no moving clouds etc... but in the end it is a real photo of a real building, somewhat as close as you could get to the "real thing".

It was installed by Chaos Computer Club for their 20th anniversary. (CCC is one of the oldest and biggest hacker organizations)

They did a even bigger and better one at "Bibliothèque Nationale de France" in Paris. It's called "Arcade".

I saw a similar installation at Prix ARS Electronica in Linz (Austria) about 10yrs (or even more? not sure!) ago.

It wasn't that long and hadn't such a kewl soundtrack... but it was some kind of impressive anyways.
