This "old" video of Mr. Farage had escaped my radar, but Mr. Farage's part here is just about the most important thing of his I've heard. Specifically, that market is fine but that social fabric comes first -- indeed, there can be no market without a social fabric. A social fabric is the trust, the trust upon which mercantile exchanges can take place. I am sorry for my English, I am that Portuguese UKIP fan who gets in trouble with communication, kindly bear with me. Small is beautiful.
To Puzzoozoo: I assume that when you say 'EU', you are referring to the political union of the 27 member states. The policy of UKIP is to sever political ties with the other 26 states and benefit from government-to-government trade agreements which existed long before the EU was ever conceived.
silverhammer, yes, but you seem to have a strange idea as to what the EU actually is. It is a federal state in the making. And you think you can take back things from the EU Commission you have handed over. As I said if you had any knowledge of the EU you would know its a non-starter. Once handed over its gone, the only way is to get out of the EU, then you can regain all what was handed over.
Let's run with your reasoning for a few moments, then. If I can't take back powers and sovereignty from the EU using my method, then how exactly do you propose to do it?
Look, I'm not going to continue this discussion any further. Let me just say that is it the policy of UKIP to leave the EU, and not to renegotiate the terms as you seem to think. I don't know who told you that, but it's dead wrong. If you're going to help inflict a blow upon Labour in the next election, then for the time being, I have no quibble with you and your party. Bye.
"the policy of UKIP to leave the EU" well UKIP has changed it's tune. It used to have wanted to just to renegotiate our membership, but as UKIP has probably since found out you can't renegotiate with them, they have come on board the BNP's policy for the EU. Bye and welcome aboard. Oh, BTW now as UKIP wants to pull out of the EU, UKIP can expect vicious attention and smears from the lefties and assorted europhile media and vested interests.
They call it the 'liberalisation' of a market/industry. Sounds good to money-minded PM Brown - he can't understand that the Post Offices are central to British identity and the 'hubs' that improve the cohesiveness of British communities!
Isn't it stange that for centuries small nations have joined together to create something really good, to serve everyone as a whole, and now people are becoming selfish and insular - wanting to break up what our forefathers toiled and died to create? United we stand - divided we are ruled by the EU!
This is how the European Union was imposed on the people of Europe, by stealth.

You leave the EU. Then everything you handed over reverts to your countries sovereignty again.

My comment below was directed towards the BNP voters waine9574 and Puzzoozoo. I do apologise for the mistake in replying - I'm new to YouTube.

Above I see a foolish comment. Taking Britain out of the EU is UKIP's forte and reason for being. You'll never better Nigel Farage anyway.
