About Arctic City

In the shadows of my memory it is the winter of '65. With a single candle to warm our hands, I see three faces. One of them is Sandy. Teenage, friendly, rounded features, illuminated further by the sharp inhalation and the brighter glow. She was a girl who left her home; she took her singing voice with her. I catch the spark and let it fly. Mixing fiction with fact, I see a story unfold which could be her it could be you. Am I the only shadow left who knows?

And also - Kelly Ruicks is great

There is another artist I have just discovered named Kaki King which work I like a lot maybe you know her or find her music beautiful as well

It's a rather rare album I think. Some blogs have it listed. But you should find his record "Hello" on here. It has some great tracks as well.

I actually discovered Kelli through Kaki King ;-) Been a listener (and "fan") for quite a while now. They both have a similar approach and have collaborated too.

What I've heard of "Hello" is great

it's strange, on one of the video's of Kelli I saw someone who said in their words

"i never seen her smile

she's way better than justing biber or lady gaga"

and i woner - what has one thing to do with the other?

probably if she smiled more she would sound even better
