The resturant is still private property, you are a guest of the resturant and may be asked to leave at any point even if you are a police officer, it does not give you the right to just enter a property., you can be charged with trespassing.
The officer was using his badge as a means to act on a civil matter and therefore had in himself commited a crime.
He then uses excessive force to subdue the unarmed woman, again commiting a crime.
He was not threatend in any way by her other than her foul mouth wich is understandable.
The law says he was not found guilty of any wrong doing?
So are they saying if i felt i was short changed i could then walk into a private property, physically attack the person and drag them to a car and make a citizens arrest?

When that MAN purchased something from wendy's he was no longer a police officer he became a customer of wendy's. Now if any other customer tried to come behind the counter because he thought he was short changed he would be arrested. If said person tried to ask a clerk at wendy's to come outside to talk about it, you would refuse. This cop was in a normal situation but because he had a god complex becuase of his job he thought he could use scare tactics to get his way.

Second, she was resisting arrest and he had every right to use force to subjugate her.
Third, food is not prepared at the checkout, it simply goes through the checkout and into the buyers' car.

The police should never, NEVER, do ANYTHING to a minor without contacting parents... The minor MIGHT NOT KNOW how the hell to handle the situation!! If the "criminal" (lack of better word) is an adult, it's their own fault then, but a kid better have the right to have their parents help them out if they want it.
