i only have one problem with this review, if anyone could choose one game to define the saturn it would have to be Virtua Fighter 2, it was the most popular game for saturn for a long time, highest selling game for the saturn to this day, and it was the main selling point for the saturn in japan.

whenever people think of the saturn, they think of nights into dreams. sells mean nothing, especially in the case of saturn since it sold like trash. virtua fighter 2 was just an arcade port and there were many on the saturn, i could think of many other games that would better define the saturn. second of all virtua fighter 2 wasnt even exclusive to the saturn as it was released on the pc as well and was in the arcade years before that, do some research ;)

To some extent wii sports is the game that best defines what the wii was created to do. (note that a defining title and the best title are not the same)

Gran turismo is not in my opinion the defining title on the PS1 only because FF7 was the game that became the main selling point for the Ps1 worldwide. as for nintendogs... i don't really own a wii and have never had much interest in it so i can't say...

Don't need to get all worked up, but notice how i also said that it was the main selling point for the saturn in both Europe and Japan, that means something if you ask me. I remember when Nights was released in 1996 months after VF2 and got mostly mediocre reviews from non-saturn exclusive magazines VF however got mostly positive reviews, but, if you disagree, that fine. Also, VF2 was only released on PC in late 1997 a whole year after the Saturn version.

I miss this game so dearly, I nearly cried after seeing the gameplay. I played it over and over again until the internal memory on my Saturn ran out of battery...

It is pretty easy to change the battery inside the Saturn. Open the door on the back left, push the battery in, let it pop out, put the new one in by pushing the battery in whilst holding it down so it goes into the front of the holder, and put the door back on.

The battery is a CR2032 (at least in Model 1 Notched), you can find them at most drug or electronics stores.

i just ordered this off ebay yeasterday along with christmas nights and sonic jam i had £30 so i didnt have enough for a special pad but i might have one cos i got my saturn off my mums friends son and he is a mega gamer so i might have one cos i did have nights before but i lost it and i found it snaped so wish me luck in finding one in my wardrobe lol

Yeah. Many people are complaining about some of the graphics or so I hear. :P Thats also what one of the people who gave NiD a good review said about JoD. Personally, I don't care about graphics, except for really crappy ones. But NiD, I understand.

you'll most likely enjoy the original because the Wii version is basically just a remake kinda. The original is a little different but overall its the better game.

NiGHTS has apeared in many Sonic games from the original NiGHTS, to the that Wii NiGHTS. I think NiGHTS was even in Billy Hatcher if I remember corectly...

I use a program called Free Hi-Q Recorder. I usually use a headset to record my voice, but im probably just gonna start using my Quickcam because it records alot better audio and its easier to use.
