  • 0:32 Well noticed lol

  • Good work. Nice to see youngers getting involved in something interesting, that gets the brain ticking. Nice one.

  • Why is Jupiter bigger than the sun on this scale?

  • @bandet888 Because they are just kids?

  • good work, I can't wait till my kids are old enough to do a similar thing with them. mind blowing stuff!

  • Nice to see American kids being inspired by real science instead of creationist crap

  • well done

  • your anus. lol

  • omgggggggg no armed kid

  • Good grief people, quit it with the criticisms. The family knew the balls weren't to scale. It's the relative distances from each other that they are illustrating. It's good that the mom helped her kids come to understand roughly how the planets are spaced. They're like 6 and 8 for crying out loud.

  • The measurements are taken from The Magic School Bus solar system book, we didn't make them up.

This was a 3rd grade project, go easy on us. (We know the sun is not that size.)

Don't watch it if you don't like it.

  • I really really really really rearlly HATE this woman's voice , it drives me crazy and I feel like puking . why her voice is so annoying ? is it me or does anyone else feel this way .

  • my dad hates your vidio it is true

  • Sorry, your guys are way off. Please do not misslead people to think the planets are this close at your scale. If the Earth was 5/16" diameter and the Sun was 36" in diameter the distance between them would be more than 300feet! The sun is 93 million miles away from earth. Scaled down to my scale (1mm = 1000 Miles) it would be as mentioned,..over 300 feet away.

  • pause at 2:26 ha ha lol he has no arms

  • jupiter is not red and that size, saturn is too small with no rings and why do they need to do measurements? boring but they are kids

  • guys lighten up! they're kids.

  • jupiter is not as big as the sun

  • saturn is too small

  • the scale and coloring is incorrect

  • when was jutpiter the same size as the sun

  • I'm glad the Little Rascals have taken to dabbling in Science

  • Kids are fuckin retarded

  • stupid kids!!! lets kick there ass

  • Oh dear!!!!! ....Your making this up as you go along! Arn't you!

  • color accuracy my ass. and i thought this was a scale solar sytem model not a hey lets ask the kids stupid questions for the entire video

  • Apparently, Jupiter is as big as the sun...

  • ok, i have to say that is not a very good representation of distances for a scale model.

if the sun was as big as that excercise ball, then earth would be maybe 100ft away. -at least! pluto would be a couple of miles away!

    sorry.

  • This is very unrealistic.... if you made the Sun about 1 meter, you would have to put Neptune maybe 3,300 meter (approx) but yeah, u would have rather made a better project if you did it is google maps OR you would have measured the area which in the video is about 35 feet and you would make the planet, mainly Earth would be very small, small, small

  • i think you did a great job!

  • the distances should be MUCH bigger. its further than that when you use NUTS to represnet the planets.

  • Like the asteroid belts! That's great.

Next time, try making the planets and Sun sizes at the same scale of the distances.

If the Sun diameter is 139 mm, then Pluto is almost 600 meters away!

  • haha, astroid belt
