rev limiter is at 5400rpm champ, i had an ed and it spent alot of its life at the speed. the tachos r just fucking useless as well, let the limiter do the work for u
@sirbogan In most .. I have had 8 EA's EB's and ED's and only 1 had any limiter and that was a speed limiter .. but the NF i have has both :( but only works on Petrol Not gas :P

@DaN4zz are you for real. Your car will be fine after a quick slap of the limiter, there are obviously 8 people on the video dumb enough to think an instant slap of the limiter will blow up the motor. Everyone seems to know everything on the internet....

@Falcman0077 i know this is old ;) the real idle is around 700 to 800 rpm mostly 700 rpm used thats was set when the car was new. better fuel that way.
um no. im a ford nut with a few of these, youll find the needle floating ahead of itself. sounded to me like 4-5 rpm. 1991 is an EA series 2.badge on the bonnet and the heater controls are silver. EA. anyway, thats my bitch 4 the day. cheers.
