As far as I know his last contribution to music was a track on a Art of Noise tribute album entitled The Abduction Of The Art Of Noise. It was released in 2003. That's mad, AON were pretty big in the 80s coz all the stuff used by bands like them was brand new equipment and techniques. Ask him about when they Close to the Edit on TOTP; they actually had an Emulator synth in the studio which was worth about 5 times the average house price, back then. He also worked with the Pet Shop Boys in the early days.
I will do when he's back, unfortunatly Mr. JJ has just suffered a heart-attack. We all want him back so badly, he's helping us through our GCSEs. When he's back and settled I will definatly ask for you :) Until then, GET BETTER SOON JJ!!

They really were not your general musicbiz-people, but awesome musicians. Should have kept the masks maybe. Mistery was a huge part of what made AON AON.
zednija and rebeldevil11 have JJ as an IT teacher! you lucky sods!!!!! He was and still is one of the greatest sampling and programming pioneers in the world, and if its IT you want to learn, JJ is the man to ask! Just look at some of the cool gear he used in the Art of Noise!
I don't get the impression that they'd be intentionally rude at all - I think it was a combination of their sense of humour and a little awkwardness to be honest. And being referred to as a 'Computer Freak/Lover' probably didn't help! I liked the 'Steady on, old chap......' comment, very dry!
Theres a real contrast in JJ's approach between this and the other interview you have circa InVisible Silence - in fact he comes across as a bit of an arse, sadly. Do I detect some tension ebtween him and Anne even?
I guess he just hates this interview and is not very cooperative while she tries to actually answer the questions - which were the usual questions on occasions like these. That's the price for fame, really.
Funny Jeczalik is my IT teacher too and he isn't much different if you think about it....

He's kind of back at school now isn't he, I've seen him around but we still have a cover teacher for our lessons.
