Cuz I'm in the verge to get a blowout myself due to the Shrinkage I get after I wash my hair or when I leave it in a puff on a regular day. So plz let me know. And again YOU LOOK AMAZINGGGG!!!
I am 7 months natural too, but I am AFRAID of heat damage! Oh, girl, good luck with that. I get this same look (I love afros too) by banding my hair. Try it. It puts the "I hope that I don't get heat damage" question out of picture! Your 'fro is gorgeous!
@KiaraJ007 With twists/twistout/afro, I section dry moisturized hair Put ouch-less bands on the length of the sections at differing levels until you get to the ends (you look like a satellite) Leave 30 min, 2 hours or overnight to get a good decent stretched Afro. I haven't done a video on the technique yet but I have 2 videos with a stretched AFRO - My "3 month Natural hair update" and my "7 month natural Hair update and Contest" My friend AllisonLPayne has one. Check it out!
@Angelicalovessolur it will revert. Trust me. If ur you're still nervous just like, try blowing out a little piece and seeing how it is. I bet it will look fantastic and I'm like, super sure that it will revert. But give it a try, on a little section (like in the back or something). Good luck, ma.
@Angelicalovessolur it will as long as u dont use chemicals. i do it all the time but try and keep it to a minimum............. wash and condition hair try to use a heat protectant (not really needed) let hair dry a little get a blow dryer with a pick attachment and style
