I think there is going to be deflation, not inflation. The collapsing of real estate is evidence of deflation. When one person looses their house or is underwater, someone else is LOSING that money and this example is repeated in every industry. In order to see inflation, you have to believe that the gov is going to print money faster than credit is destroyed. The political will to print money is already very weak and getting weaker.

Daniel...about a year ago I told you that we'd experience a combination of inflation and deflation. Inflation in the goods we need for every day life like food,gas etc. and a deflation in those things that aren't necessary like big houses,cars etc. Looks like we are seeing this. Car prices are going down in my area,houses are going down in price. Food is going up,gas is going up etc.

A 7,400 McMansion built in 2006 in my area is being offered by the bank for 366K.

I was prepared to give up the babies for adoption, even. So many want one!
