Your transmissions should not last past warranty, hence millions have put down $4500 for a new tranny in their 2007 GM. As for rustangs being slow, the Camaro SS does 0-60 in 4.6-4.7 seconds, the 2010 Mustang GT in 4.9 seconds Both are nice cars including the Challenger RT in 5.9 seconds. fan boys will say anything to make their brand look better. The base v6 has 300 hp (just like the v8 mustang gt), and the ss modle comes with a 6.2L v8 that cranks out 420bhp and 400lb/ft torque. more than enough to smoke any price range competiter in europe considering that the 4 door g8 gxp is faster than the m5. Germany has won many battles, but like world wars I and II, America has and will always win the war.
