  • although i like google waay better.. im thinking i want the HTC Titan :D

  • just because of specs...? nexus dual core 1.2 ghz titan 1.5 ghz n. 5 megapixels t. 8 megapixels

  • @penpen3844 although the titan is a nice phone, the gnex also has a better screen, better widgets, and lot more apps with a larger developer community. that is why the iPhone usually wins even when it is under-spec`d ( the ecosystem )

  • Ladylambert345 I agree...

  • HTC is way better.....

  • Is it just me or did the Titan just whip the nexus at everything but - Flash support ( which is useless soon anyway ) 1080p video and Download/Upload speeds??? How does the Nexus win? If it boils down to specs, then why bother showing any of the other stuff then brush it a side, and why does the Iphone always win every gen when it is completely under spec'd?.

  • 3:25 I'm Rick James BITCH!!!!

  • I think windows did it right with this OS, unfortunately they need to get HD screens and better volume control.

  • @pennjersey83 Windows did extremely well being honest, but they can do so much to their OS to improve it. I'm not saying its bad at all, but there are just so many different things people want on it because it is minimalistic. I like it though, which is why I own one.

  • All of you people are being irrational. This video is supposed to give people a basic overview of what you can expect from the two different platforms, not decide which phone is better. The decision at the end was only to declare some sort of winner.

  • What is the clock widget he is using on the Gnexus? Its beautiful!

  • APPLE, WP, ANDROID. THEY SHOULD ALL COMBINE AND MAKE ONE KICK ASS PHONE... JUST ONE. AND SEE HOW IT GOES. Anyone agree?

  • Rick James Bitch!!!!

  • Thats interesting,He said any Google android phone, any processor, there is lag sometimes or other, I've also experienced this.

Whereas all windows phone 7 show absolutely no lag, and all time silky smooth performance.

  • For me, the perfect phone is

Android ICS functions (Camera capabilities, all Google support) + Windows phone Fly animations and 'silky smooth' performance. Thumbs Up

  • Flash is still supported on the Galaxy Nexus and on Android 4. So it will be around for some time to come. The Windows Phone tiles are a great idea but they remind me of discount sale signs and highway signs.

  • Look at the new phones at CES like the new Sony ecrisson ion.

  • Fuck, androids are so ugly :D

Join the movement and buy a wp7!

    It's the future.

    Not this laggy androit-shit :D

  • @EpicMax01 lol join redmond shill movement? no way only microsoft employee uses WP7 phone.

  • @USONOFAV retards like u support android blindly without knowing the downside

  • @127prats well morons shit like you support wp7 blindly. Really wp7 from microsoft?

  • @USONOFAV its far better than malware ridden ugly android, app quality sucks! touchscreen has dead spots, it lags and crashes. and talking about android having the best camera who the fuck needs an extragood camera? that what is the use of slr

  • @127prats I use Galaxy Nexus with ICS, I don't wtfing dead spot and lags you are talking about. I have both iPhone 4s for work and Galaxy Nexus for personal use we developed on both platform. Malwares, fragmentation are scare tactics used by M$ and other smear campaign to spread FUD (as always knowing MS history). I don't use shit coming from M$.

  • @USONOFAV wow, i did the graphics on 2 apps for android, and 1 for iPhone, according to the programmer android has a lot of issues. there are 8% crashes on the app and iphone reported only 1.3% even though the iPhone had more downloads. also if u say there are no malware problems then why is there an antivirus app? what the developers are crazy? if you say ms says shit, dont forget ms gets 55% of the revenue from htc and other big co from each android sold

  • How the fuck is Android market cluttered? Windows app store looks boring as shit.

  • aaron lives in ga (;

  • flash is important for me. And the fact I can take screen shots.

  • @VladimirMizich dude flash is dead, adobe is done with it. (mobile version) the future is html5 and windows mango supports it. also windows owns skype so i imagine there will be an app soon. so i hope those two reasons don't turn you away.

  • Free Noah, and Tibet while we're at it.

  • If Windows Phone had Flash and Skype I would totally go for it. Since it doesn't... Android Phone it is.

  • @VladimirMizich Flash is absolutely useless on mobile devices. Adobe has stopped supporting it.

  • @VladimirMizich : wait for Tango update then. the Skype integration will blow your mind on WP7.. and as for flash.. Adobe killed flash mobile..

  • It kills me how each side is trying to bash and flame the other and say one OS is better than the other. I'm a Windows fan but some Androids really aren't that bad, it's not a bad OS. And admittedly WP7 looks boring on the screen but often times if you actually use it in person it's much better. Just take your phone a run with it.

  • Windows Phone 7 is pretty cool. At least as an OS it doesn't sue Noah. I feel like Android sues people like phonedog.

  • i got bored/tired of the functions of windows in 1 week. the "deadspace" on the right hand side of the homescreen should be used up for setting widgets such as brightness, wifi, bluetooth, rotate etc etc.

oh and bing maps sux, very crap integration with the bing search

  • The more videos I watch the more I'm starting to like Windows 7.5, the only thing I'm not crazy about is the tiles on the home screen

  • where are u from Aaron?

  • He has lost SOOOO much weight!!! or is it just me

  • Phonedog has turned into a crap website. They're suing Noah because he sued them for owed wages. What greedy pieces of doodoo. They don't stand a chance to win. How can you tell someone a twitter follower is worth $2.50? If you can't get your own followers it shows people aren't interested.

  • @jeffscomp Read the full story at pdog.ws slash twittersuit

  • So you always talk about how android needs the higher specks and wp7 doesn't. So how can you pick the Galaxy Nexus because of specks?

  • Do a review from a software point of view completely, Show the Mango update and Ice cream sandwich update indepth dont just show off a couple of features like the people hub and people app show of everything, From Gaming integration to Music player show off the OS indepth afterall thats what most consumers care about how the phone looks Aesthetically. Show the comparisons for both.

  • @alzain16 Lol good point about the cameras!!

  • You need a dual-core to shoot 1080p video, fuckin retards

  • why are the makers so stupid....5Mp = 1080p 8Mp= 720p ???

  • IOS+WP- Android

plus why would you do a phone comparison if your gonna say 1 phone wins purely because of specs

  • The truth is Windows Phone 7 looks not just ugly but pretentious, copying the style off fashion magazines with annoying big fonts. Sorry, if I want minimalist I will buy a painting. If I want a tool, I need features. A Toyota Yaris is a minimalist car, but I won't pay a Lexus price for one. Android is that Lexus, cluttered yet fully featured, maybe ugly at times, but it feels darn rich to own.

  • Pfff how in hell you want to win if you have Internet Explorer!!! poor HTC .-.

  • if i wanted a smooth but boring phone i would have bought a windows phone, but i rather have a little lag and a cool phone

  • @PrinceT300 Lol, well cool is a subjective term, I think Windows Phones are cool.

  • Windows phone is boring (more than iOS) but way smoother than the mess that is Android. I still wouldn't choose little features over performance, and WP has a decent app selection.

  • Comment removed

  • imo windows phone is the same as ios its great , fast and smooth but damn its so boring!

  • windows sucks

  • Windows phone is much more elegant and faster then any Android device. Using my Samsung Focus for more then a year now and never had any problem with it. No lags no crashes. Something Android device can't do. Specs is not everything. Performens is what matters

  • PHONE DOGS LAWSUIT MAKES APPLE'S LOOK VERY FAIR; I used to be an avid follower of you, now I will NEVER give your website a single view again. What the hell is wrong with you guys? Suing Noah for quitting phonedog and still using twitter... You are worse than schooldog bullies, and you will lose this lawsuit along with all of your viewers.

  • Your mom was trash last night..

  • PHONE DOG IS TRASH

  • Windows Phone = Awesomeness

  • hey Aaron man i haven't watched you in a month and i gotta say you have lost weight man. Congrats if that's what you were trying to do!

  • Android rules!

  • I think it's moronic to compare phone with different operating systems. You Aaron get your hands on some pretty nice phones, but fail to comprehend that WP7 was built not to need specs such as dual core CPU or huge amount of ram. It was built for one purpose only, and it's to work properly. Sure, it has bugs, it might be boring compared to Android, but come on. I use Android, and I just might get a WP7 or WP8 next. I'm just sick of it NOT WORKING WITH AMAZING SPECS...

  • I like the geeky look of android :o iOS & Windows are boring looking ._.

  • WP7 looks so boring.

  • @MrCocoRobot Haha, to each his own. Good thing that there is choice in the market because I think that Android looks cluttered. Minimalism ftw.

  • @MrCocoRobot atleast it more alive than IOS

  • Comment removed

  • @MrCocoRobot He has a very quiet setup. Once you set up some groups and get some good apps the live tiles come to life. It's pretty awesome

  • Android is so overrated, its looks almost monolithic in front of windows.

  • @sikkodarth That's funny as Windows Phone looks like monolithic blocks.

  • Very weak comparison. You based your winner because of specs not real world comparisons

  • Arronn reviewed both the Sprint and Att Galaxy S II and said *There's no lag not what so ever when dealing with the exynos processor* but here he says *I've experienced lag on every android device*... Dude... what's up with that? lol

  • I didn't think this Noah thing was so important until in saw another vid in my subscriptions about it

  • Oh, and also, if you're going to base reviews off of specifications only, there's no point. Anyone could look at a spec sheet and declare the winner. When it comes down to performance, specification are just a whole bunch of numbers.

  • There's no lag on either phones in this video? why is everyone arguing...

  • Specs don't mean anything. My HTC Radar's 5 MP camera takes better pictures than my previous Samsung Galaxy S II's 8 MP camera. And while my older HTC Sensation, having a dual core processor, faced lag half the time, the radar is smooth despite it's single core processor. Everything just works, looks, and, simply put, is better on Windows phone.

  • Windows Phone is awesome, next time also show the actual UI for both devices in detail

  • this guy has lost a lot of weight.

  • I can't believe this was decided on specs alone. Surely the whole point of having great specs is so the phone runs with as little lag/delay as possible and the Titan is much smoother and snappier than the galaxy nexus, tech sites need to realise that most consumers don't care if the phone is dual core the most important thing is that its nice to use and every android device i've ever used gets choppy on a fairly regular basis despite being more powerful than windows phones

  • @DomAyre Well said man, I don't think I could have said it myself.

The fact that Window phone's literally have half the "specs" and yet can still run circles around the Android platform is more proof that Microsoft GETS software. My 1ghz Samsung Omnia 7 scrolls smoother and runs apps without failure better than the most powerful 1.5 dual core Android Phone out there.

The more these things turn into a spec war, the more I start to question reviews from phonedog.

  • @DomAyre I don't care about smothness and if the phone is snappy

I need android for everything. I'll change to Windows phone when we could run the PC windows on it. Not wp7.5

  • @DeejayAntoineGagnon Fair enough you can certainly do more advanced stuff more easily on android, don't get me wrong I like it, I just was saying that a review should generally be for the majority and the majority or people just want to make calls, send texts, check social networks and download handy/fun apps and I personally think that WP 7.5 provides a nicer experience doing those sorts of things, Android just seems cluttered and choppy to me

  • @DeejayAntoineGagnon I think u can run the PC on it with the HD2. Sounds like you want the old Windows Mobile.

  • @DomAyre Agreed. However, I must say the Galaxy Nexus is pretty smooth. Prob the smoothest Android I've ever used.

  • @DomAyre But when using graphics-heavy applications the specs come into play, and this time I think it's pretty obvious why the Galaxy Nexus has some almost impossible to notice lag(not choppier than WP7 though, I've owned a WP7 device and it was still laggier than the Galaxy Nexus), and it's that the phone has the screen resolution of a TV.

  • @Zodiac13SFPD0 I'd have to disagree there, I've owned one of the 1st gen windows phones with only a 1 GHz processor and i've never experienced any lag on it whatsoever. I'm not saying that the galaxy nexus is laggy by any means but that's mainly because its so much more powerful than the titan, windows phone is much more optimised so it doesn't need dual core processors to work well, unless as you say you play a demanding game or whatever but the titan is more than capable of handling those

  • @DomAyre mm dont flame me because this is just my opinion but I respectfully disagree with the second half of your second sentence. As a Galaxy Nexus owner I can vouch for it's speed and snappyness. ICS(granted the user doesn't install task managers or other OS killers) is definitely on par and a great improvement over gingerbread. just my 2 cents :)

  • @808PhoneReview Yeah I agree ICS is a brilliant update and they've done a lot in terms of optimising the OS which is awesome, I guess "much smoother" is a bit of an overstatement I just noticed the occasional drop in frame rate during certain animations on the galaxy nexus but its definitely a quick phone in general, the main point was that it needs such good specs to be on par with windows phone, it would be noticeably laggier if it had the titans specs

  • @DomAyre yeah, but dont u know that android beats wp in web browsing & benchmarking.

no flash in windows phones, where android offers u real web browsing. android also has more apps.

and android can be bit laggy cos its resource demanding os

  • @khans620 Well in terms of benchmarking that isn't true if you have two phones of the same spec windows phone gets higher scores, its just that android requires more powerful hardware to run just as smoothly which means in pointless benchmarks yes android gets higher scores but that means nothing if the phone doesn't run as well, the absence of flash is bad true but flash is an outdated standard anyway which will soon be replaced with HTML 5 (which windows phone handles better btw)

  • @khans620 and windows phones might not have the sheer number of apps but they are of much higher quality because of the great tools microsoft provides developers and the certification process they use, plus all the main apps you'd want are on windows phone so I don't really care how many thousands more apps android has most of the main tasks the average user would want are achievable with native apps anyway. And you seem to be saying that android is resource demanding as if its a good thing....

  • 8mp shooter only capable of 720p? Lol windows phone is a joke . Sorry , but I still don't see the appeal for WP7, its just so boring

  • People better be unsubbing from that twitter account, the less the viewers, the less PD can sue Noah. $340,000???whatt?!

  • galaxy s2 no lag

  • @vetkato1 but maps is superior on Android

  • @ja195 so is youtube, gmail, calendar....every google app

  • @CityFlashLights Sure of that but never really used WP7 like just poked in a couple things

  • what's this "noah" thing o see trending?

  • @eerereps Phone dog is suing Noah for his twitter account claiming that all of his followers are there's and that Noah should pay them 340,000$

  • @TheStand08 really? what the heck man! that's kind of silly!

  • another one bites the dust booya

  • wp7 email is superior to all. I mean honestly. I'm still going back to Android though.

  • @Eballs84 Dude... Android is king of them all!!!

  • HTC Titan FTW!!!

  • arron would give the gnex the "win" based "purely on specs" even if it was going against the black berry 8350.

  • Oh... if you ate gonna knock some thing about the gnex... try knocking the most important part.. like the fact that you cannot manage calls outside of ADDING an additional call or clicking over.. truthfully that I'd the WORST part of ics.

  • android still sucks, WP7 and iOS are both far better

  • @jameslove888 thanks mate

  • Noah Kravitz is a nice guy. Fuck phonedog, we are not property! [Unsubscribing]

Lets see how long you can survive in YouTube without subscribers

  • Aaron since I got Sgs2 there is no such thing as lag u need a great hardware for buttery smooth performance

  • @mrey555 No you don't, you need software optimised for the hardware.

  • @mrey555 SGS2 won't be "buttery smooth" once it gets ICS. Google optimized ICS for the TI OMAP processor and while it does have some hiccups at the moment on the Nexus, an update is coming and besides the SGS2 will still have TouchPISS and nothing beats stock Android

  • @MagentaUser Google didnt optimize it for the TI. Where did you get that info? What they did was add graphics acceleration to ICS. Meaning the interface would no longer hog up the CPU's power like previous versions, the GPU will handle that (like it is supposed to in the first place) ICS can be optimized for any phone and any processor, not just the TI, its up to manufactures to do that. Thats kinda why an early ICS is almost "buttery smooth" on my Desire.

  • @CityFlashLights I think that's what he probably meant. Of course ICS can optimized for any phone and/or processor but Google will see to it that it performs best on the Nexus. Obviously because it's their flagship device. I understand you want justify your purchase but the SGSII is old news. Anyone who says it's better the Nexus is either hating or lying

  • @njboricuaparati how would people saying the GS2 is better are lying? it is a better phone and thats been proven many times. the only thing better on the GNex is ICS...and thats not an argument because the S2 already has tons of ICS ports with and without touchwiz. And im for sure not a hater or a lier

  • @njboricuaparati And he said "SGS2 won't be "buttery smooth" once it gets ICS. Google optimized ICS for the TI OMAP processor." He said tht ICS is opt for that proc and nothing else.

  • Android because it's highly customizeable even wp7 launcher on android is more customizeable then wp7os

  • Had both and Android is superior in every way to WP7 specially ICS its amazing.

If you just want something basic go WP7 for me it does the job but has nothing to it very plain OS which i soon tired off.

I wouldn't say WP7 has an amazing experience its ok but nothing to shout about its far too limited.

  • Where's Noah? Oh, he's in court :P

  • from now on, im going to use adblock for all phonedog videos!

  • The amount of empty black bezel on both phones is disappointing.

  • my galaxy s never lag ..

  • Loving my Galaxy Nexus running a AOSP rom on it and its fantastic, smooth and fast best Android phone out currently and having owned a WP7, while I have nothing against it the OS is nice its just far to restricted for my liking.

  • Specs? Seriously? That's your justification for the Galaxy Nexus' win? The Titan has the smoother performance by a mile. Specs should not be, the deciding factor. Performance should be the deciding factor. I would take a 1.4 GHz single core device that works perfectly over a 1.2 GHz dual core that lags once in a while.

  • With windows 8 the PC the Xbox nd the phone shall become one giant OS none of the other two OS have dat nd I doubt they will only the iPhone has the potential to work toghter with a mac I guess

  • why are everyone else talking about noah ??

they already explained that long ago .

now we can watch video of noah on technobuffalo channel

  • @najibnk Yeah but that douche Jon Rettinger hogs it all up. We barely get to see much of Noah there cause he isn't the star of the show like he was on PhoneDog. Techno belongs to Jon Rettinger and will be do anything in his power not to be upstaged

  • Wp8 a.k.a. Apollo is suppose to come out in the middle of this year or at the end ND if u think about how can a OS with barley a year already caught up to the two other power houses of Android nd Ios

  • I say wp7 won cause it performer better then the gnexsus with less ram and on single core o nd its a ios copy when wp8 comes out there getting muliti core phones and high resolutions screens

  • It's not all about specs, it's about user experience. WP7 have low end specs but an amazing user experience. Crapdroid however have high specs and a shit user experience because android is a shitty OS

  • @moizaphenom surrrre keep telling yourself that

  • @Chris4434 dude really? first aaron isnt bias towards android, if anything hes more bias to ios, and the lagg in android is improving, right now i have the droidx2 with a rom that makes it almost as smoth as ios, and how is android ugly if you can costomize it how ever you want including ios and wp7 home replacements

  • @zoics1 whats wrong with noah? i dont understand whats happened? :/

  • @mstfa45 and just for the record I had the galaxy nexus 4 a week and traded it in for the Droid Razr I have the Epic 4G Touch on my sprint line and the Droid Razr on my verizon I feel like verizon customers really got cheated as we didn't get a true Galaxy S II thats the whole reason why I even have sprint as soon as I found out that verizon wasnt getting it I was first in line for my epic 4G touch and after using it and the nexus I can truthfully say verizon cheated us

  • @Mstfa45 maybe to you but as far as me and about 14 million others the GSII is still the superior device even Aaron picked the Epic 4G Touch over the nexus and just think whats going to happen once the GSII gets ics? The GSII is the true flagship the nexus was a waste of time...

  • Im tired of watching these phone videos, knowing I'm never gonna get one, some people take things for granted honestly..

  • One video if in Dec 31 and other in Jan 1

  • @anton71190 lol uh I've hade it since day one and no it doesnt

  • @kodyLanesExpress to remid you that galaxy nexus is a flagship phone of google....and is better then GS2

  • @mstfa45 making it a flagship does not make it better (and dont bring up the argument of faster updates) the GS2 is faster and just works better, plus there are tons of roms with ICS with and without TouchWhiz

  • YOU ARE SO BIAS TOWARDS ANDROID AARON. IT'S DISGUSTING. ANDROID IS SO LAGGY BUGGY AND HORRIBLY UGLY COMPARED TO WP7 AND iOS!!!!!

  • Calm down wp7 fan boy, if you dont like android because you had a cheap phone dont take it on every android phone. Plus to me wp7 is so plain and simple. Im just saying.

  • @Chris4434 That's right.

  • @Chris4434 That's why, Android never wins against iOS

  • Some people are truly stupid. I truly love Android and ICS as an operating system but the Nexus phone itself is annoyingly buggy. I would give the slight edge to the Titan

  • @toomuchgame441 That's too bad that your Galaxy Nexus has been annoyingly buggy. Mine has been perfect. No problems at all and twice the battery life as my iphone 4s!

  • @dotnetpro would you rather he did he dogfight with the GSII because then that would have been a slaughter LoL he was trying to give the poor windows phone a chance because if the GSII were to be brought out the titan would have been toast within the first 5mins lol so dont be so quick to talk because I'll throw up a quick vid of my GSII vs a titan we have collecting dust at out store lmfao me and my bro's only push Android we rarely sell a windows phone & I work @ the highest volume store in LA

  • phonedog your image has taken a dip because of what you are doing with noah..!!

  • @TheRbk1990 What are you talking about

  • @shockoid suing noah over his twitter account, PD is claiming that the subscribers belong to PD and not Noah

  • @shockoid they sued noah..!

  • @TheRbk1990 whats happening with noah?

  • @TheJafari1 they sued noah..!

  • @TheRbk1990 why what did noah do?

  • @TheJafari1 phonedog is claiming that noah is still using the same old twitter account that he was using with phonedog so all the subscribers belong to pd..!

  • @TheJafari1 Apparently PhoneDog owns Noah's twitter followers, so they are suing Noah for $2.50 each follower, which is around $30k?

  • FUCK NOAH!!!! PHONEDOG ALL THE WAY JUST UNSUBSCRIBED FROM TECHNO BUFFALO
