The point of protests like these is not to get McDonald's to change their corporate decisions but to get publicity to try to get the people to realize what goes on and pressure McDonald's to change.

My opinion - if you want to eat animals that is fine. However you should be aware of how they are raised and killed. If someone wants to slaughter and prepare their own meat I have no problem with it. What I have a problem with is people who eat and don't think about where their food comes from.
