  • Anyone else notice that Alford was like 4-5 inches shorter than Alarie but according to "height" they were only an inch apart. Alford was not 6'2".

  • If you wanna increase your height " Helpo Growth Formula "

Just google it. Worked for me....

  • I remember these trials prob the best talent(college) assembled ever including the cats like who were cut or not invited like Sam Bowie, Charles Barkley,Chuck Person,Pearl Washington, Lancaster Gordon,Roosevelt Chapman,John Stockton,Tyrone Corbin, Bobby Lee Hurt, and many more,College cats of today have more raw talent but these dudes right here were more polished and understood the game better. Glad I was born when I was. For all who dont know Roosevelt Chapman was a BEAST he def coulda made it.

  • @tommyhtc...Russell and Oscar are two of the greatet and we could probably debate which Olympic team was the greatest until the cows come home. Russell and Oscar were a little before my time, so in my lifetime the 1984 Olympic team was the best.

  • Chuck Crabb is the announcer...

  • is that forrest on the mic?

  • those who didnt make the cut...john stockton, charles barkley....wow

sounded weird how the announcer announced Michael jordan's name so casually and the crowd barely clapped

  • Knight was ready to kick Ewing off the team for being a screw-off but the other coaches talked him out of it. Knight had to be prejudiced against Barkley to cut him when he dominated the trials.

  • He told Barkley to lose weight, and he didn't do it...so he cut him.

  • i would say after the 1992 team, this was the best amateur team ever!

  • the 1992 team was all pros, except for one. This is the best amateur team ever, period.

  • @bigboy10131969

A big duh on my end, I meant to say after the 1992 team the 1984 squad was the best u.s. mens olympic b-ball team.

  • @bigboy10131969 how about russell and oscar's olympic team?

  • @SFFOOL76 the 1992 team was not an amateur team, they were all NBA superstars. the 1984 Olympic team was the last amateur team to win olympic gold.

  • @bigboy10131969 they even beat the pro all-star team of 1984

  • This event was actually televised back in the day?

  • Growin up in Indiana, Channel 4 out of Indianapolis/Bloomington used to televise every exhibition imaginable. It was awesome watching that team develop. It was a travesty that Charles Barkley didn't make the final cut, as he was even more dominating than Michael Jordan on the floor (if you can believe that). When he got cut, he stated that was fueled him for the rest of his career.

  • if there's any way you can post the video to this game, please do so...

  • Who is michael jordan? I'ave never heard of him before. Is he any good?

  • go look at your ass, he is in ther3! nge heheheh!

  • Christ, who picked sides for this game, Malcolm X and David Duke?

  • never thought about that , quite funny.

  • look at the difference in height between alarie and alford even tho the pa lists alarie at 6 3 and alford 6 2.

  • Alarie was a SF I think his height was 6'8 or 6'9. Look closely he's taller than Tisdale.

  • Alford 6'2"?? nah

  • @phelius yesss

  • do you have the whole game, i want to watch this so bad

  • not invited?

    Len Bias?

  • DePaul had a squad that year

  • Never knew about this.

  • i like billy packer...

hey, interested in selling the video or posting on youtube?

  • Great to hear Chuck Crabb announcing the starting lineup. I can't imagine going to the Hall without hearing Chuck say "your Indiana Hooooooooooooosiers!" Nice video and thanks for sharing.

  • Imagine how "geeky" todays players will look in 25 years. Those ridiculous long pants.....stupid haircuts.
