What i've always found absolutely astonishing in this song is how well the song and the images mix up. I usually don't really like the songs used for HP mvs, but Natalie Merchant's one is absolutely WONDERFUL. This makes my heart wrench, and reminds me of the summer i first saw this video, 3 years ago. *goddammit. 3 years already ? O.O"

The cutting for this video is fucking amazing I love how they cut the same actors and actresses from different movies to tie the plots into together...Until I saw this video I didn't comprehend the devastating sadness and love Snape had for Lily :(

The companies that filmed the footage and the one that produced the song. Its understandable cause its not my stuff but I would think for something like this it would be looked over since Im not making any money off of it. Its just for entertainment but it doesn't matter to the companies that want to keep everything to themselves :/

Fair Use laws are on your side... Repost it! Add a note at the end of the video listing who holds the copywrites for the song and the movie clips you used, and there shouldn't be a problem. Here are the guidelines for Fair Use (what the judges consider in a copywrite infringement case):

1. the purpose and character of your use

2. the nature of the copyrighted work

3. the amount and substantiality of the portion taken

4. the effect of the use upon the potential market
