actually the falling papers & the cheerful attitude of the volin player make this Totoro performance become the most outstanding and remarkable performance.
Sure they are talented, but the most importantly their joyful attitude have connected me to this piece of music. Like all of u in here, i keep repeating this video depsite i hv watched it for so many times.
Fun, upbeat, and I remember being there... the air conditioner was acting on its own, it seemed, but thankfully only during this piece. As if I didn't have enough smiles from hearing such a wondrous concert, this one made my mouth hurt a bit afterwards because of oversmiling and laughing too hard - just being too happy and high off the music (a place so high, it's where the most powerful drugs cannot take anyone!).
I never saw Totoro, but this group did great. The poor guy just could not keep the papers on the stand... though, he gained my respect for having such a good attitude after that. I am sure he was not very pleased with the air flow, but he managed to give the crowd a nice bonus laugh.
Shoulda seen him when he came back to Australia for the next concert xP He told us bout it and was saying he was a lil skeptical bout the airconditioning. xP
;___; This is REALLY good. I would give a limb to be there. And the sound quality from this video is excellent. And ROCK ON to that violinist who kept dropping his paper... XD He still did wonderful!
Word. Just... word. I agree completely. Friday and Saturday were wonderful, but Sunday? I was in heaven during the concert! I think I'm still on that high hearing the Mario Medley gave me.
man, if only i wasnt such a klutz wit a violin bow (broke 2 in just a month) then i could play violin rly well...

Thank you so much for uploading this. I was at a Panel and missed this song...I could have died. I had an awful seat as well.
This movie has such good quality - I guess that could come from the good sound system that that room had, but still!

Very glad that I could be of service, hopefully they'll be back next year so you can see the song in person.
