  • @maethorize How the hell does that work?

  • IDK if you know this but Spyderco calls it "natural" because thats G10's natural color, unchanged. Other colors are dyed G10. Sweet knife looking at getting one

  • i wish they would have used a wire clip for this knife

  • @yoohoofan13 i agree.

  • that deep choil on this knife is a downer. catches cord. Hate that! Not like the PM2!

  • Great knife, great review, thank you. It's ridiculous, I can legally carry my ESEE-4 in public here in Berlin, but if I got caught carrying this in public I'd probably go to jail.

  • @maethorize That is ridiculous! Thank you for watching.

  • @maethorize then just carry that esee! Funny that those bankers can steal everything in sight and they go free but you can't carry a locking folder.

  • @spydercofan99 Thank you for watching.

  • Great review. I like the pros and cons you listed... that natural g10 looks so nice!

  • @katabunga Thank you Kat. I appreciate you watching.

  • great video! are you using sony vegas?

  • @asznam I use imovie

  • I really like your editing good video

  • @brownbear696969 Thank you!

  • i love the design and the materials of this knife and its a spyderco so quality is not a factor, but the price of this little thing scares the hell of me!

i agre with you a 100% IT IS A BEAUTIFUL KNIFE.

and a perfect "no suspicious" edc option;maybe some day...

    by the way

    great review

  • @yukiotakata It is a bit pricey. Thanks for watching.

  • I think you could put the leafstorm through some hard use. It's stock is fairly thick, and that RIL will give you enough lock strength for anything that you need to do. If you look at other ti-RILs like the Strider PPT, Spyderco could have asked more.

  • @xDEMONIZEDx They could have asked for more but they would not have sold many. The price as it stands is already a little too high - in increase would only take a way from the knife.

  • Love the new format dude. Very clean and professional and this was a great review. I agree that this one is mainly for spyderco enthusiasts/collectors. The typical knife person might not be so jazzed about the price tag. It does have great materials, etc, but I think the normal knife user would see the size vs the price tag as a bit odd.

  • @MrJimbofox Thank for watching Jimbo. I appreciate the kind words.

  • congrats with this one. Absolute beautiful little Spydie.

  • @robin6512 Thank you!

  • Have ALWAYS wanted a leafstorm. *drool*

  • @f50fan It is a beautiful knife. Thanks for watching!

  • wow - beautiful knife. i really like it. i think i still prefer the sage 2 but still need/want one. thanks!

  • @defenseandsafety Both are great knives. Thanks for watching.

  • good stuff man and enjoyed the review.take care

  • @007Knives Thanks!

  • wow im cutting card bored

  • @hillbilly4915 Yup.

  • I really like the knife. The natural g10 looks awesome. Great video man!

  • @paperas24 Thanks for watching!

  • really dig the knife but i just cant get past the price for what you get. nice review as always

  • @solarez71 The price is a deal breaker. Thanks for watching.

  • Great review. I like how you listed the pros and cons and I agreed with all of them. However I prefer the backround you used on the sage 2 review. Keep up the good work!

  • @callorimr I liked that background as well but I no longer have that anymore. Thanks for watching.

  • I love the fit and finnish on this knife and the bladeshape really appeals to me. I just wished they had a larger version of this knife. I'm a big fan of a 4inch blade in my hand.

  • HEY!!! It's good to see you back with the knife reviews. I always enjoy seeing your videos. Thanks for sharing.

  • @MrSenset I have been busy at work and broke my camera so it has been a while since my last video. I have several knives ready for review and they will be up in the following weeks. Thanks for watching.

  • @edgedweapon88 Ah man! I'm sorry to hear about your camera but I am looking forward to more knife reviews.

  • Awesome review, Keelen! You always put great effort into your videos!

  • @bigbubba5037 Thank you for the kind words, Christian. I always appreciate you watching.

  • why would sebenza lovers like this knife? its a good knife but not to much like a sebenza, more spy die like, and thats not bad at all

  • @auradud3 If you can appreciate the materials and cost of a Sebenza than the cost of the Leaf Storm is not that much of an issue. I was making a comparison to cost and materials between the two knives.

  • @edgedweapon88 i love both knives, guess i just don't understand the comparison since there are so many knives with reeves locks, steels. i enjoy the differences between spy dies and reeves knives, i think for realistic reasons the spy dies are better because they are not very expensive, making them more of a user blade. just saying lol

  • Great video man, I've always wanted one of these. Awesome review sir!

  • @guitarmikey2 Thanks for watching, Mikey!

  • Great looking knife, even better in 1080p!

  • @GMGvanS Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!

  • ★★★★★

Very well made video and review!

  • @TheMultiGunMan Thank you very much!

  • I think the biggest con on tis knife is the lack of finger choil. I have already handled one and i didn't like the ergonomics at all. I think the hand is too far from the blade...

Great vid! keep up the good work !

  • @Halfmoon67 I agree. Thanks for watching.

  • Amazing video! Great new layout. What a beautiful knife. I know I will be borrowing this little guy. Pretty pictures as always. Thanks for sharing.

  • @LiveLoveTry You are always welcome to use it. Thanks for watching, Pea Pod!

  • hey man you should do a hot to sharpen knives vid

  • @dudemaster1994 I will try to get one up soon.

  • Had one but sold it last week on JD. We'll made but just couldn't fathom that much cash for such a small blade.

  • @Temperdgrump I know what you mean. Thanks for watching.

  • I love spyderco! What a cool knife! Your videos rock!

  • @thenowandaway Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate you watching.

  • Your in the Military?

  • @Tux3d0 No, I am a contractor for the Navy.

  • @edgedweapon88 Wait so your a PMC o.O ???

  • @Tux3d0 No. I am a systems analyst that is contracted by the Navy to work with their computer database.

  • @edgedweapon88 OOOO!! Cool!

  • nice dude i like the knife whats the job

  • @Mr24927 Im a systems analyst. Thanks for watching.

  • @edgedweapon88 cool and no problem like the style of the review

  • @Mr24927 Thank you!

  • Great review!

  • @canadianknifekid Thanks!

  • Should have completely left out that lanyard hole. Beautiful knife, great review as always

  • @evilsquirrel56231 Thank you for watching!

  • Thank for this excellent review, Keelen! The Leaf Storm is a beautiful knife. The price is what has kept me from buying it so far. I don't mind the pocket clip, but the lanyard hole is at an odd position which makes it pretty much useless in my opinion.

  • @stschmalhaus Thank you for the kind words, Stefan. The price is a major turn off but I will admit after carrying it for over a month - it is well worth it! Thanks so much for watching.

  • I really like it. I love my native s30v

  • @JackTheGripper1985 Thank you for watching!

  • one of the best reviewers on youtube.

  • @master5775 Thank you for the kind words!

  • Thx for the review, the Leafstorm is an excellent little/big knife. I keep one in my EDC rotation.

I'm fairly certain the pocket clip and hardware are stainless steel though, not titanium. I apologize if I'm wrong

  • @5x56mm You may be correct. I searched before I made the video but I could not find any definate answer. I would hope that the hardware is Titanium considering the price spyderco wants for this knife.

  • great review

  • @poopRscoop14 Thank you!

  • Fantastic review!

  • @TheCanadianKnifeGuru Thank you!

  • would like to see this g10 or even the original carbon fiber back on the cat

  • @Probablyshouldnthave I agree. Spyderco should never have discontinued the original Cat/Chicago. I hope they come out with another carbon fiber verions in the future. Thanks for watching.

  • good point about the pocket clip they should have used the wire clip.

  • @Probablyshouldnthave I agree. That simple change would have made the entire design flow better. Thanks for watching.
