Love this video.. I've been out to BC once.. never got to explore by train but the trip was incredible.. should be on everyone's TO DO list.. very relaxing, beautiful and lots to do there. Sad to hear about the jobs.. seems like that's happening everywhere.

ive been on the east coast on the Cabot trail in Nova Scotia which was amazing but the rockies make it look like a dump in comparison, this is something to put on the ol’ bucket list

The only way they could make it more beautiful if they had classic steam engines pulling classic looking cars across the mountains, I for one do not like the looks of these loco's but perhaps one day, if we dont revert back to the classic engines, we will have a sexy sleek shikansen, bullet train running through our mountains.

We rode it on Sept 17, 2011. What an amazing journey it was! We took the Vancouver-Whistler route and truly, a testament to how beautiful British Columbia is. I couldnt help but gush about it the entire trip. Sadly the company is on locked-out.Our booking was made waaay before the strike began. Hopefully soon, they settle amicably. A million thanks to the crew who took care of us that day.

The Canadian Rockies are NOT to be missed. Although the train ride is awesome, you gotta drive the Icefield Parkway! Make sure you see Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, and drive the entire length of the Icefield Parkway.

@surkvey : That is Bow Lake & Crowsfoot Glacier. You can see this right off the Icefield Parkway. There is also a small hotel right on its shoreline (NUM TI JAH LODGE). Not sure why they included htis scene as you won't see it from the train.
