  • im turk best nation on earth

  • the second version is sooo fantistic! what's the name of the band? and what is the song about?

  • I'm Kurdish !, and i am with the greeks, fuck turgeys !!, OPA Ellada , Kurdistan !

  • f**** turks CYPRUS IS GREEK

  • song's name is çiftetelli.Çiftetelli is turkish word.So this song isnt armenian or macedonian. But It can have some versions for different countries

  • Croatia loves this song!!!

  • Music is beautiful. Love and peace to all our brothers and sisters next door. Yes, we are connected.

  • lol .. NO FLAME WARS????

    Haha It's a WONDER!!

    P.s

Just very happy to see no insulting comments coming from both sides ..

  • Oh this has nothing to do with Armenians:) But I would love to say that I love Greeks, too. Let's just drop this hate between us.

  • @plareen Armenians? Turk degilmisin kizim? Ermenilerin dedigin gibi ne alakasi var?

  • @3choBlaster Turk'um fakat herkesin anlamasi icin ingilizce konustum.

Ingilizce konusmana birsey demiyorum canim,

Turkiyede yasamiyorsun galiba (yazma seklinden anladim) bende ne yaziki gurbetciyim. Ingilizce yazmam Turkce yazmam dan daha iyi. Ama iki dilide ayni derecede konusuyorum.

  • Not that I don't think the song originated among the Turks first, it is also a Macedonian song, a Greek song, a Bulgarian song and a Serbian song. Probably an Albanian song as well. It is a universal song of the Balkan people. Many folk songs we have in the Balkans is borrowed from the Turks, though, they borrowed plenty of culture and music from us as well. Since we lived among each other for so long.

  • i want to spend my next life working towards making our two nations the best n most real friends for each other there is No music on earth that touches my heart more than a greek/turkish mixed music n i LOVE IT PLS guys Never ever again another war between our two countries Just love respect n TRUE FRIENSHIP FOR EVEN N EVER we have so much we both love about each other

  • Long live greek-turkish-armenian friendship

  • @cemilo90 FUCK YOU AND YOUR FRIENDSHIP

CALL ME RACIST I DONT CARE

BUT I AM NOT GOING TO FORGET THE MILLION GREEKS AND ARMENIANS KIDS,WOMEN WHO KILLED BY MONGOL TURKS

    FUCK OFF

  • im sorry. Wtf?

  • Tsifteteli Tourkiko! The Nina Nai song! How many times have we heard this song & there are so many versions! This is one of the best examples of how Greeks & Turks share some of their cultures. If I had known this was also a Turkish song would it change how much I like this song? Of course not! I am a proud Greek & know what it is to be Greek, but I also can be a bigger person & treat individuals with respect to honor my heritage.

  • My best friend is Turkish. No matter what we never let our countries problems come between us and ruin our friendship. They are not our problems.

  • @christoboyyy Bravo, nicely said. Greeks & Turks lived together & beside each other for centuries so there is some shared culture. I am always surprised at how similar Greek & Turkish music, dances & even words are. It's not the race but the individual that matters. Only nationalists take the harsh views we see. Hate is a heavy burden so I choose not to carry it even though our pasts were in conflict. We can celebrate TODAY!

  • Siko horepse koukli mou na ce dona seharo OPA!!! :)

  • cant believe i found this song my father used to sing when i was a little girl my cousin and i used to dance.....thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!!!!!

  • We should be nationalist. Not Racial Nationalists, but Mediterranean Nationalists.

Love from Turkey. Peace to Greek brothers.

  • my friends!!

we are brothers Turks and Greeks for so many years and centuries, what made the problem was this pointless nationalism that made todays maps, but todays maps should be drawn by cultures!! then we can have a big map that includes Turkey Greece and the rest of the middle east and the mediterranean countries!!!

    peace!!!

  • Anatolian brotherhood <3

  • SINAAAAAANAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII with IIIIIII :D

  • nice..

  • @im1hecticwog This comment deserves a thousand thumbs up. I also argued with greeks, in the past. Then I realised we have very similar personalities. We shouldn't let others get in our minds showing what few differences there are between us while there's also so many reasons to stand together.

Turco-Hellenic challenge is fun in sports and stuff but enmity is not fun at all.

  • @im1hecticwog

bravo, makari na itan oloi oi Ellines toso wrimoi

  • @im1hecticwog we cannot seperated from each others my brother . Our grandma's, grandpa's lived together, sang together, married with each other. we cannot be enemies. I love OUR culture :))

  • @misirgypsy i cannot agree with u more adelfe (brother).. i too love our culture our traditions and our music.. this aspect of the Greek-Turkish relations i love.. its jst other aspects that anger me... as im sure is the same with u...

since we really are one and the same.

  • this is macedonian song

  • @sasik3

Again people bitching about whether this is a Greek, Turkish, or Macedonian song. Who fucking cares! It's a great song no matter which language it's sung in.. Those that think different can go and fuck themselves with something sharp.

  • @sasik3 kκλασε μας τα αρχιδια βρε μαλακα!

  • @sasik3

  • if governments shut the fuck up to argue about managerial matters, we gonna listen and make much more songs together, turkey made a millitary attact to cyprus to save their citizens, but I dont think this is saving, turkish people does not need saving, they need to negotiate. I wish both could do it in the end. greetings from istanbul,

  • from the research that has been done this song is from hellenic jew origination from hellenic constantinople times, hence why it is remembered as an "old" song, from a time and place when greeks, turks, jews etc,,,,, lived serenly amongst each other, prior to 1921

  • صدای آسمانی و موزیک ریبا

مانند این آهنگ ریبا را نیز ما در ایران داریم .ولی موزیک زبان جهانی است

    efharisto, OPA!!!

  • Ah Keşke ülkemize gelip analarımızın ırzlarına geçmeseydiniz.. Sizinle ortak bir çok özelliğimiz var be ya

  • we are all people made of the same think. try to understand that nations were made to make people hate each other. when we all realize that we have all thinks in common and nothing that takes us apart we will make a heaven on earth. racism fasism nazism and all religions in this world want to separate people and not join them. when we learn to read history the coorect way we will make a better world for the future generations

  • @kyriakosnio tha perimenoume polu me tous anegkefalous pou yparxoun kai stis duo xwres!

  • @kyriakosnio right bro love all thats the way and thats gods way

  • One day Turks and Greeks (and Armenians) will realize we are the same people. Our genes mixed for 1000 years. Many successful Ottomans were Greeks who converted to Islam and became Turk. The best example is greatest Ottoman admiral Barbarossa Hayreddin Pasha. Certain countries would like to see us fight but I hope wise people in Greece and Turkey will never let this happen and our countries will stay as the paradise on earth, with their beautiful people, climate, food, history, sea and beaches.

  • @turcoboshnak

    beautiful words by you :)

  • i dont think show ,,

greeks survived from the turkish terror becouse they escaped from the citys living free up to the mountains mainly in pontos, kapadikia and the mainland of greece,,

these people later liberade the greece from the qoran and the saria,,

here is a free land and the land of philoshofers..

we dont care about greek turkish sultans but for the free people who went to the mountains to figth back the sultans and the dictadors of the time

  • @saltadoros08 - People belonging to other religions were not ruled by Sharia under the Ottoman Empire. They had their own religious authority. And there were Turkish people fighting against the sultan too. Try to read history with an objective mind. Don't let your prejudices cloud your mind and judgement. Otherwise you can never grow as an individual.

  • Somebody could translate the letter of this music for me, in English?

  • It's very hard :(

  • Yeah continue doing what you do best, denying the historical facts and your bloody past. The invasion of cyprus and the massacres of the civilian greek cypriots is a fact, the armenian genocide is a fact, the deportation and killings of greeks in izmir is a fact.... go read some history books instead of denying like a child. Denying will not change a thing Turkey has a lot of blood on its hand

  • armenian genocide was nessesery because traitors deverse to die and cyprus invasion was because greeks start killing turkish womens and children so turkish army kicked their ass and make a turkish country for turks in cyprus ,what u think doesnt matter .god blest turks and turic countrys ...

  • really....you shame the memory of turkish and cypriot people living together all those years ago.. i am a cypriot and proud to know very nice turkish people. the turkish invasion was over politics not murder of turkish people (this happened to both sides) and if you want to be an arse and say you kicked our arse,,then how comes an army of nearly 400,000 soldiers couldn't take the whole island from a bunch of farmers with shovels and rakes. you embarrass the name of decent turkish people. TWAT!

  • muhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 400 ,000 soldiers lollllllllllllllllllllll 3000 soldiers sended and ur goverment asked to stop and turks stoped noobbb why ur greece didnt do something dont talk to me like and idiot greek whitout brain ur nation knows that turks wil fuk u if u make a mistake idiot

  • @avrupalibey idiot. turkey is on the verge of being declared bankrupt and you need the cyprus vote. looks like your 400;000 can go suck ur nans nipples!

  • @fodsta75 lol looks like greeks are backrupt not the turkish :)

  • ur stupid greek lies noone believes ... to tell those lias to ur children muahahah

  • Sorry we have asses in every country. Not all the Turks think the same way, its a disgrace to humanity that people can glorify the death of any innocent person. A Mothers crying and there pain is the same wherever it is. Beutiful music, beutiful shared culture and history, thanks for sharing!

  • moron idiot fodsta75 ur goverment asked to stop to the turks amry idiot and who said 400,000 soldier again a greek bulshit lia .... ur history is a lia moron go fuck ur self now and learn things before u talk to ur dad

  • Salak salak konusma You make me hate my own nation!! Turks would never kill innocent people!! Maybe your grandfathers did something like that but mine NOT !! Armenians were our neigbours our friends and brothers !! Now they aren't and we should hold it like this maybe!! If you know that your grandfathers killed Armenians and support this you should excuse yourself !! SHAME ON YOU !! We will never fight in this way !!

  • @Pvcoll süpersin :D

  • turks are bloodthirsty people. You can deny as long as you wish, this is the truth , they slaugther greek and armenians in Asia minor, they slaughter greek cypriots in Cyprus, they want to become Europeans? lol ,,,why? is Turkey in Europe? oh maybe it is and we are unaware of it...lol!!!!

  • @takwed

You should either be a housewife in her fifties or a very small kid.. I dont think anyone who is capable of logical thinking would believe in what you believe.

You should stop interpreting historical facts like a kid.

  • People here listening to this music. Can you just shut the fuck up talking about politics every where? FFS!

  • @VlkClk

music is politics with armonia,,yes we are all the same and mucik has no country

  • @VlkClk agreed!

  • music is the world language.... that's all.. turkish greek or italian music is same.. same language..

  • Yes he's got a point there. And please remove that greek symbol from your flag. Thank you.

  • why do you post TURKISH songs that the greeks copied and sang and call it Turkish/Greek mutual songs? These songs are pure Turkish..why do you steal our heritage and culture?? Stay in Athens and don't even come to the land of Turks even as a tourist!

  • U got a point there!

  • Keske soykirim yapsaydik!

I wish we killed you all !

No we aren't murderers! If we had done a genocide greeks and armenians wouldn't be here now. If we had the intention to kill armenians and greeks we would destroyed their roots!

    Soykirim yapsak soyu kalmazdi !

  • Sa helal olsun gardasim. seni anlundan öpiyyyrum! tirabzondan sana kucak dolusi selamlar!!!! gazisaydukta kökünden gazisayduk. insallah kün kelir kaziruk!!

  • laiosto u bring up a good point. I agree that both us grks nd turks do sing gr8 songs. i have nothing against that nd yes i agree it may very well be a bridge towards peace. yashar13 jst so u know i have nothing against turkish music. u r missing my point. dnt take this the wrong way but MOST grks like many islanders wont forget the past however some grks like those in cyprus r living in peace with the turks nd may have forgiven n forgotten.

  • by mistake i put (-) to your comment. sorry. it was for "takwed" sorry again.

  • elite1970 if u r grk u will know that peace between greeks and turks will never come no matter wat happens. some grks nd turks may forget the past but many wont forget wat the turks did to us..

  • shot ur fuckin mouth u fascist, as long as u and fascist (φασίστας ) people like you exsists, of course 2 nations cant live in peace, I wrote down "rascist" in greek so that maybe u could understand wot I am talking about, u asshole,u are soo blind that u cant see how wonderful these songs and how beautiful these 2 nations sang this song many many years ago, and you still talking about your fascist thoughts :D

  • your political crap aint absorbing, what has passed has passed, lets hope that the future is peaceful for all mankind.

  • Tüm Yunan ve Türk kardeşlerime selamlar olsun.

Türkiye ve Yunanistan arasında yaşanan şeylere rağman Türkler ve Yunanlar kardeştir.

  • first off all greeks untill theyr fall to the taliban-turks they never had middle ages//

middle ages start in balkans with the arival of the turks..

they throw the greeks and all the ordodoxs in spiritual mizery and darkness that last 500 years ...

all the mizery of the balkans today have the roods in the othoman ocuppation...

  • they used to take the children of the greeks for centurys(one boy of family)

they closed the univercitys of constantinople and make the unjustice the golden rule of their dominion!

  • This is so true fellow. There were really no "dark" middle ages on the Balkans before Ottoman occupation.Despite all the wars between Bulgarians,Byzantines,Serbs and so on we were really part of the same great East-European civilization.

  • greeks went in agypt and build the famous library of alexandria...

what did the turks when they come to the land of vuzantioum?

looting, killing, raping, and build mosces for the god of desert

  • You've failed to explain what the Greeks did *after* they took up Christianity that is more impressive than the achievements of the Ottoman Empire.

  • first af all were ever went the greeks they left behind positive thinks...(aigypt,syria,palestine,pakistan,afganistan,lubia,france,south italy

even know if you vizit these countriesand say to them that you are greek they loved you..

in the other hand whereever went the turks only bad thinks you can listen for them...

after the fall of constantinople many greeks left the sacked city for the west...with concecence the the arival of the renesesance of the west...

  • The Library of Alexandria was built in the third century BC, and was destroyed in part at the orders of the Christian Emperor Theodosius in the fourth century AD. Greek culture was already in decline as a result of Byzantium.

  • not realy,,

cristianity is a greek-religion made in kostantinople by greeks theologians and philosophers,,for the greeks of oikoumeni and not the greek-state any more,,,

    eurithink is greek in europe,,

cristianity is the new myth for the empire of the vyzantioum and the story of christ-xristos is the biggest-ever tragody written by greeks and contain all the stoic pholosophy ,,,

  • Maybe so, but it destroyed Greek culture. It destroyed European culture, in fact, bringing in the Dark Ages. The Renaissance in Europe was essentially the rediscovery of ancient Greek culture, and the Enlightenment involved the rise of secularism and moving beyond ancient Greek culture. The Arabs helped preserve Greek culture during the Dark Ages; eg. the Moorish philosopher Averroes.

  • turkish a nation of common thiefs stolen eurithing from greeks,,

  • this music is greek stolen by turks like eurithing else...since the turks comes from the stepes of central asia...

  • What do you mean "stolen by Turks"? Kazantzidis says it clearly himself in the song: tsifteteli tourkiko. Do you consider the great Kazantzidis, son of refugees from Asia Minor, a traitor for showing Turkish culture respect?

  • its not even turkish the tsifteteli...what are you talking know???

what did you bring from the steppes of asia?

    let me tell you...

    horses,tents,and carpets

  • The tsifteli developed in Ottoman Asia Minor. There is no good evidence that it was a classical Greek or Byzantine invention, prior to the Ottoman invasion. It is therefore a product of the Ottoman empire, which included Turkish and Greek subjects. Strictly speaking, it is neither Greek nor Turkish, but Ottoman.

  • asia minor were always greek at the soul..

if you want to see turks without greek influense you must travel in west anatolia..

greeks were the rulers of the ottoman empire this is way the neoturks unter the german supervision start the genocite aginst the cristian minoritys...

anyway in 1942 half of the taxis to the turjkish state they were paid by the greeks of constantinople...

  • tsiftetel is an ancient greek dance they used to dance it in the dionisiac musteries,,,

with the expansion of the greek culture to the east with the great alexanter these dance become comon to the people of the east...

all this hapened 1300 years before your people set food in anatolia..

  • I'm not Turkish, I'm Greek. But I hate the idea of racism, nationalism and militarism. How can you praise Alexander on the one hand and condemn the Turks on the other: are you suggesting that God gave the Greeks alone a special right to conquer other people?

  • greeks were they went the build musems theatres and filosofical shools academies,,

in the other hand turks were worst than the talibans,,

the bring to the people the dark ages,,,

what is left in greece after of 500 occupation of the turks?nothing

  • Note that little of great cultural value happened in Europe during the Dark Ages either. Arguably, the Muslims of the time - Turks and Arabs - were more civilised than the Europeans, more tolerant, and actually preserved preserved ancient Greek culture (eg. the works of Aristotle and Plato) where the Europeans at best neglected and at worst destroyed it. It was Christianity that destroyed Greek culture, not the Turks.

  • anyway if you believe that turks save the greeks you are wellcome to do that...

i think turks also save armenians and these days the kurds)))

  • You represent the very worst of the jingoistic nationalism that infects Europe. You choose the bits of history that suit your narrow world view and disregard any negative parts. I am Greek, but dickheads like you embarass me.Have you ever lived in a multicultural society? Your mentality is that of someone who has led a very sheltered life. You are the Greek equivalent of The Taliban,or Iranian Islamic state. You present a seemingly benign face, but are in reality a crazy as batshit.

  • Iaiosto u have misundertood wat i have sed. people are saying grks nd turks should bring peace between each other yes this may happen but not with all people. many will say the past is the past but many like me wont forget it. Also i live in Australia one of the best multicultural societies in the world..

  • As a fellow Aussie then you should know better.Forgive and forget. The people who committed the atrocities are long dead. Why keep bringing up the past? Most current Turks are decent people like you and me.If we both enjoy the same sorts of music, then good on us. The music can be a bridge to build friendships on,not as a forum to bring up past misdeeds.

  • I love greeks lots of love from Turkey

  • turkish languange

  • şinanay yavrum şinanay :D

  • As usual; I have met many Greeks and Turks who are very fond of their Mediterranean Culture and what they have brought to this world. And also many Greeks and Turks trying to discard each others cultures by offending... Why in earth?

During 1999 earth quake I was a volunteer for German relief team; there I have witnessed the Greek and Turkish teams together working for humanity, crying together for the losts. Ofcourse I do not mean these last two "poor" commenters, doing nothing but offending!
