I thought this was very interesting, "Everyone please stand, remove your caps and please pray for those who lost their lives while we play a very loud air raid siren". What does the siren mean in Japan? I am familiar with a moment of silence but this is completely different.
@MonkeyLuffa Thanks. It seems to be before 1936 that the siren has begun to be sounded at the Koshien Stadium. During times of war, it was sounded as a signal of the air-raid alarm. After World War II, it was used as a signal of a game start and end. Furthermore, the siren was employed for the silent prayer at noon of the anniversary of the end of World War II (August 15) every year, and many people prayed for peace. Therefore the siren was sounded while this time prayed silently.
Heheh, I'm not entirely sure, but I like your videos because they take place in areas I am often traveling around, myself! I saw someone taking video on the kanjousen one day and wondered if it might have been you! XD. I work near 9 Mall and the Kyoceradome area, so I really appreciate your videos of the neighborhood very much. :)
@Saitoko7 Thank you. I have not taken video on the kanjousen since two month ago. Also, there are many train-spotter (Tetsuota) who take videos in a train now. So, the person may not be me. We might meet by chance in Osaka someday. But I'm afraid I don't know you by sight.
Oh, did you meet me? Do you know my face? Umm... Oh, now I remember. I've seen person who look just like acquaintance just on a month ago. In front of door at the Fukushima station on the Osaka Loop Line. Umm... I thought my eyes are playing trick on me at that time. Maybe she is completely different person from you, isn't it ???

@3417konno
