The sequel was called PAUL AND MICHELLE, released several years later and in the end of it they don't get together to stay. Sad ending again, like the first. The critics shredded this movie back then but that did little to effect the minds of those who fell in love with this film because of its tenderness and innocence, plus the emotional pull of the music on the heart strings and the location photography being so dreamy. The sequel was much more hard core realistic in their adulthood.

This is the first movie I asked my mother to take me to see it. I was so moved. After this, I read a book also. Elton's music was perfect. Unforgettable movie and still the BEST movie for me. I am still in love with Sean Bury. What he is doing nowadays ?

IN the 80's USA NETWORK aired alot different programming than they do today. showed movies like the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, Friends and also Paul and Michelle. At that time I taped them on vhs and still have those old tapes. Of course, the nudity was censored, but not much else is missing. I've never found other places to get Paul and Michelle.

one of my favorite movies from when i was young. still watch on tape and listen to the soundtrack.
