@johndeeregreen111 We used the 03 dash on the inside. The ECM is bolted to the driver side firewall, but the access wiring is tucked under the ECM. Eventually I'll hire a wire guy to get rid of all the left over. I plan on building a custom dash eventually too.
@MrHugoa1977 I cut a large area out and made a new 4 piece firewall tunnel and new 3 piece inner fenders. It's not an over done puzzle neither. Everything laid out pretty easy and made accessing any part of the 6.0 easy. All I have to do is remove a panel to get to whatever I want to. Shoot the whole top of the motor is pretty much exposed including the turbo. We boxed the whole frame though to minimize twisting.
Try Shimming your CMP/CPS with a single shim, thickness to 0.508 mm (0.020") Shim Ford Part# (F7TZ-1 2J072-AA), it will change the air gap just enough to see if it dial's-in better. Use a small dab of Dielectric grease to hold the shim on the Sensor while your installing it.
I'm using the original black International CMP with one shim, stock injectors, fuel mods etc. and I get 427 HP on stock w/80 HP tune.
No I had my buddies take video of that one and it didn't come out well. I had my friend run the truck this time to make sure the video came out. This one from the Sac event looked a little cooler anyways with the extra fuel from the new tune.
That can hold up to a Bully Dog about $5-7K. That will last with a heavy Smarty tune $3500-$5000. Anyone of the specialty ones will do from BD to Suncoast, and there are a lot of other smaller independent Cummins trans specialists that are just as good.
Awesome

Is there any custom tuning you would recommend?

@hondatuner88 Innovative or Spartan are the only ways to go.

hay do you think 79 f150 would have more room for 6.0
MrHugoa1977 9 months ago
@MrHugoa1977 Same, there is plenty of room. Check out the red one on Powerstrokenation, it's sick! I think there is a burnout of it in my favorites.

was it hard to put powerstroke in or did you cut some space out

@bullridingcowboy77
Bully Bog with Crazy Larry Tune, but make sure you set money aside for a new trans. Otherwise a Smarty Tuner.
