Its nice to see that Obama is encouraging people to become involved in politics. Bush and Mcain will only appeal to a certain demographic. But younger people are the people of the future, and it is so important they have a voice. Obama would listen and acknowledge it, Mccain would ignore it.

If I were Joel, I would have refrained from making any references to the color of states. That is a media concept that harks back to the divisions caused by the Bush administration. Obama is above and beyond that. He wants change and that change includes the way we speak. It's not about "blue state" vs. "red state"--it's about unity as Americans and working together to achieve common goals. Making North Carolina "blue" will just infuriate the "reds" that live there (and vice versa). Peace, bro!!
