As for girls back then... the slutty ones mimicked Madonna (complete w/ heavy make up, big hair, & lots of necklaces). That's pretty damn fake. A lot of high school girls preferred the bookish, slightly sexy look. Just alluring enough for the boys to notice, while keeping it tasteful so parents wouldn't bitch! ;)

Anyone would have the original video for Middle Of The Road? It was just the band playing in a stage painted like a road floor and background, with actors playing protesters and policemen during the band´s playing. That´s what I remember.
