oye excelente tu aporte pero una pregunta que me recomiendas para dos pioneer 307d4 con una monoblock de 1000 RMS por el espacio hay de sobra es para una camioneta!
instead of drilling a hole for the wires d sealing it drill two holes per chamber and use bolts as connectors i do it all the time and its easier and looks awsome

@DjDano500 thats box took a while with the filming , but i can make a box like that in about 1 hour , thats me ... but i have made over 600 boxes in my life time ,
yeah have u done a speaker box for a sport trac explorer with four hole with 10 if u havent id would like to know how to make one only seen it in one sport trac but i dont know how they did it look hard to do so can u show me how to make one thanks if not its ok laters
hows it goin, there are a few book out there , what i would do is look on the internet for subbox calculator , there are a lot of programs out there , if you need help to designing a box let me know , i can help you ....
your comments are appreciated but this video is intended for your average speaker box. All of my personal boxes are tuned between 25 hz and 30 hz. Low frequencies are great if you play little John or Young Jezzy all day. 40 hz is a good all around frequency for a daily driver that likes to listen to all types of music. The port area is fine for that box. As far as the bracing go pressure does not have a direction. The bracing is designed to stop the box from flexing. It is not necessary
to use all thread for a 4 cubic foot box. If you blow up a balloon it expands equally just like the pressure does in a box. Once again this box is intended for your average person. If you would like for me to do a video on a 150 db box I can do that and show you the correct way. Thank you
And also, Why did you brace that way? Pretty sure subs move forward and back, not side to side or up and down. Would have made more since to brace front and back togther, maybe with some threaded rod. I do admire you throwing the terminal cups away though, good choice. Maybe try bolts next time. They're helle easy and allow you to change/remove wires or change ohms if you want to.
Good vid, but i have a few complaints. No way is that enough port area. You're pushing about 10 inches/ft. Usually 13-16 inches/ ft will sound better. I like more than that personally. I'm using 16 inches/ ft with 2 6" pvc ports on my next build firing forward sealed off. Also, Why did you do the port like that? Would have been easier to just cut each face where the subs mount in, lay them down and fasten them. Also, why are you tuned rediciously high? I would have aimed more toward 32-34 hz.
Wr do u stay?

MDF and no dust mask? If you've made 600 boxes you know better. I hate that MDF dust.
