  • Aw i have a dilute blue parrotlet its a girl ^^ shes so sweet and loves me to death O-O this video is so cute ^^

  • Omg he's feeding him! Hahah awww

  • how did sprout die?

  • Very nice Video

  • My parrolet's mate recently died. He was despondent until I played this video. Now I play it to get him motived to eat and interact with me. It has been difficult since he is a full-flight, bird-bonded guy. He seems to like to watch your video much as listen. I also had to separate my parrolets due to excessive grooming, but they had "together playtime" everyday. Sorry to hear that Sprout died. Maybe we should get Bean and Boobo together!

  • @1Linean I'm glad the video helps. It's tough when one of the flock dies. Bean goes to my friend gaethiel 's house and he plays with her birds. Its what has kept me from buying another bird. As long as he has friends, he'll be OK.

  • NOOOOO i wanted to watch more nuuuu D'=

  • They are so cute!!

  • How do I tell if my parrolets are male or female?

  • Males have cobalt blue on their backs and a little more blue around the eyes.

  • I'm so sorry to hear about Sprout passing. At least you have this wonderful video to remember him by. They are adorable! Be sure to check out our Parrotlet videos. :)

  • what good brothers:)

  • this is so sweet...I loved the way you filmed it

  • These birds are cute indeed. Very calming to Indigo (my parrotlet).

  • Sorry to hear about sprout, but this is a lovely video of them both.

  • that's so cute!!!

  • Oh I am sooo sorry about the Sprout! I didn't know that he had passed on, that's really sad! I'm sure Bean misses him all the time.

Do you mind if I ask what he died from?

  • So cute! Just wondering, did you house them together or separately?

  • Great question. If I had to do it all over, I would have housed them separately. At first they were together, then Sprout began plucking himself. He also took to plucking Bean's head! We did get them into separate cages after that. After Sprout died, Bean started to pluck himself. However, he chews them more than plucks so he is just a little scruffy looking. I try to give him lots of things to shred. He loves Harrison's pellets but plays with them half the time rather than eating them!

  • bow chika wow wow

  • Oh my goodness. That is one of THE cutest things I've ever seen!! Great job with the camera. The picture was amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this with me:) I'm so sorry about Sprout:(

  • Thanks! They were sitting on my knee with the afternoon sun streaming in the widow. It made the background fade to black which looked cool. They were sweet together.

  • This is just sooo adorable!! Come visit Louie!

  • This is a magnificent vid. Not only are they soooo adorable, but the videography on this is beautiful. RIP cute little Sprout.

  • They are sisters. They were 2 years old in June.

  • They are so cute. I have two females and they do the same thing.

  • That's interesting. Are they related? I don't think it would matter but was just wondering.

  • Aww they are so cute together..

  • they love sharing head scratches!

  • Adorable. :)

  • thanks!

  • i DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD Sprout =0)

    Sprout seems a little sad.

  • He's just a little confused. He has a plucking habit. (:>

  • poor baby...=0( Hope sprout finds his little way =0/

  • Best parrotlet video on YouTube.

  • Wow, thanks for such high praise. I'll give beaky rubs to both of them.

    :)

  • How sweet! My Greenies snuggle together and preen all day long like this but they certinly don't share ABC food with eachother...thats adorable.

  • They might share food when they get older. Your greenies are cute!

  • They groom eachother. That's the beginning of social interaction and cooperation. They are evolving into people!

  • at about :15 and :20 one of them made a little 'buzzing' noise. my sister's parrotlet does that all the time, which sounds like it's coming from his nose. does it happen to mean anything in bird language?

  • I think its a little growl. They do it sometimes when being pestered but I also think here it might be the last remnant of a baby/comfort noise. They used to have a little voice to the growl when they were babies and I let them go under a blanket to snuggle.

  • *Saves to favourites* Oh gosh, that is so cute. I've been thinking about getting a partner for Coco because it would be so cute to watch this sort of behaviour. Not sure I want to lose my little buddy to another girl though :P. Plus they might fight.

  • I think if you got another at this time, it's possible that you could lose your little buddy. He certainly loves how you scratch him just fine!

  • woot and they're soooo cute! Love to see these two together :)

  • They are pretty snuggly together. We just gotta watch Sprout so that he doesn't pluck the Bean. (Bean used to have a bald spot on his head)
