Why couldn't they have done what they did with this song with Laid to Rest? They added a bass track to that song by lowering the pitch of the rhythm track by one octave. This is a much better method.

I have listened to the original cut of Laid to Rest with my equalizer set to favor the bass as much as possible, and I can hear no bass track. Also, in Guitar Hero 2, Laid to Rest had a rhythm track rather than a bass track.

The GH2 version was a cover, and the album version of the song, as with many other Lamb of God songs, has the bass audio turned down to almost zero. I'm positive what you're playing in RB is the actual bass track.
