  • i haave a s&w 40. cal its a good gun

  • Glock 21sf all day

  • do either of those guns come wit lifetime warranty?

  • Only thing I saw missing is you did not confirm the chamber to be empty by either looking at it directly or feeling it, it may not seem important but I've handled guns with extractor issues that would have otherwise left it loaded while you think it is fully unloaded. Otherwise, this was a good video.

  • I'm going with the p95 as my first gun for a few reasons... FIRST and foremost the price is DOPE and you really can't compete with that quality gun for that price... I been doing research for the past 2 years on guns waiting till I was 21 and able to buy... I've read and talked to numerous gun shop owners and they say Smith and Wesson is the way to go if you're buying a revolver... I heard Ruger and Glock is the way to go for semi autos... can't wait to have the p95... Dope video bro

  • I like Ruger but the S&W 9mm ergonomically was just a great fit for me personally. Great vid!

  • get yourself a springfield Xd, or a Sig. You won't regret it.

  • I dont own a Ruger but I do the Smith and Wesson .40 acp. In fact it my duty firearm. I know some people say crap about it as being junk. I know a few guys that carry it and like it. I have not found any ammo it won't take. Never once has it not operated properly. They are nice firearms and the one I have is very accurate. I would get another one.

  • My sigma fails to feed wit hollows :(

  • I picked up a second KP95PR a couple weeks ago. Since then I have shot 1150 rounds through it with not a single malfunction. I love my P95s, in my opinion they are the "AK47" of the semi auto handgun world.

  • Thanks for the info. I have the sigma 40 and it was my first. Never had a problem and i shoot well with it. Was considering the p95 but i may look at a smaller cc gun.

  • Without a grip the sigmas grip feels way too slim

  • Dude your the only guy I know who's had jams with the Ruger. I handle mine with a Hogue grip and cheap Tul Ammo, FMJ, and other cheap Russian ammunition. 300-400 rounds still no jams!

  • i cant hit shit with my sigma

  • I know one thing, some Police Department trains with the P95, I don't know any that uses the Sigma..... I still prefer the P95, it's a higher quality pistol.

  • im still trying to decide which one i want to pick up... you can get lasers for the sigma with out the adapter they just cost a lil more but they are a whole lot smaller compared to the one you have... but i think im going to go with the sw9ve, just seems like a better gun to me... oh and im going to be carrying mine, its not too big

  • I picked up a P95 as well. I love both the Sigma and the P95. They are both great guns and I would recommend getting both if you can. Both are fun to shoot. I still keep my trusty Sigma by my bedside with a light attachment. Can't really say anything bad about either one.

  • I was between both and im glad I bought the p95.

  • got em both .There both great guns i have no trouble with the trigger on s&w.or the weight on the ruger. all i want is for it to fire when i pull the trigger, there both as reliable as my ak. common sense

  • Ruger FTW. Hands down.

  • I have the ruger and I love it. I've fired 150 round and no problems so far. When I was at the store I was debating between the sigma and the p95 because they are in the same price range. This is my first gun so I went with the ruger because it had a safety switch. so far I am very happy with my decision.

  • @jjkdogg Good stuff man... have you had any issues at all with your P95?

  • @GunznPoker my magazine would fall out but I sent it to Ruger and they fixed the problem for free.

  • Good video. I have both guns but prefer the Ruger. Only because my Sigma malfunctioned. The barrel expanded when a round failed to discharge and the next round hit it. I have sent it back to Smith and Wesson in hopes it can be repaired or replaced. It occured while at the range on my first shot and my Uberti 357 single action (fairly new) also failed to function. Just goes to show that stuff happens.

  • @DEANMORALES1 I'm sorry to hear that man. Has Smith been able to repair/replace it for you?

  • I don't know why everyone complains

About the trigger on the Sigma. I have no issue with it, not on the 9mm or 40 (shot both). I personally like the Sigma. Never shot

The Ruger P95 but I checked it out and I liked the look and feel. I may purchase it later on but first I want the P345.

  • @DonCheetoPX4 Agreed! Once you put a few rounds downrange with a Sigma, the trigger pull becomes obsolete.

  • sigma is a piece of garbage. there is no comparison between these guns. ruger is hands down better in every way

  • @llwrdlfstyl

Id personally have to disagree. I think they both serve their purpose and they both have their pros and cons. The reason for the comparison is normally due to price. They're so close, they can't help be comparable options. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • heavier the better imo but im used to a 1911 lol;)

  • I have both guns & there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON. The Sigma is so bad it should not even be on the table. The trigger is terrible. I sent it to S&W in Texas where a S&W armorer did all he could to get the grittiness out of the trigger. He failed to help. There is no "sweet spot" to know when it will shoot so that staging will be possible. It is best to use it as home defense. Just Pull the trigger. Forget about the box. The Ruger is a tank & very reliable. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • @buzzclark

Many would disagree with you brother and many often find themselves debating on which one to buy since they're so close in price. Personally, I have no issue w/ the trigger, the long pull is the safety of the weapon but can easily be reduced w/ a minor trigger job. Mine has well over 2K rds down range and there's no grittiness in the trigger at all. Never a hiccup and an absolute str8 shooter. Yes sir, I love my Sigma. Let me know if you ever want to sell yours - I'll buy it

  • @GunznPoker Yea, I have to partly agree with you. Sigmas are best for night-table home-defense guns. BUT I do disagree with your statement "can be easily reduced with a """MINOR""" trigger job. As I stated in my comments I sent mine to the S&W Sigma specialist in Texas who could do very little with the trigger. YES, you can replace the striker fire spring with a real light one reducing the poundace AT THE RISK OF LIGHT HITS - resulting in CLICK NO BANG. I TRIED IT. Thx. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • I was getting ready to retire from youtube. I was like fuck it if pokers not here I dont wanna be here either. Glad to see you officially back in the mix man.

The damn 1 handgun a month rule we get is good for 1 thing. If we didnt have that rule

I would of picked up a Sigma by now and more cheap commie handguns like the Tokarev. I would be poor from buying guns everyday =P

  • @FireArmsResQ

lol... you can't retire bro. We need more movies and kick ass zombie gunning! Yeah all the watching ended up in a vid, then another then... well yeah, I guess I'm back.

ha... one handgun a month would have us both in the poor house. But you could you imagine? That would be one kickass year!!!

Dude, if you get a sigma... you first box of ammo is on me!!!

  • I had a sigma myself, nice little guns it was my first 40. Usually by me they run about the same but I think I prefer the P95 but that's more because I'm a self admitted ruger fanboy :)

  • @mrwhite4

    Damn fan boys!

Are you going to have Ruger dremel your Youtube username on the slide?

  • @FireArmsResQ I asked they told me to stop being a douche or go buy a PF9 if I want to ruin a gun with cheap engraving and duracoat.

  • @FireArmsResQ Hey do you think Esse is going to make a nutnfancy special edition knife?

  • @mrwhite4

Esse is a very classy company. As long as nutnfancy appologizes for being a douche bag cutting in front of everyone I think Esse will forgive that him =P

  • @FireArmsResQ

I didn't want to see anything....... but....... that's why I don't show the Sigma anymore. lmao j/k.

  • Great vid! I'd eventually buy both, but I'd buy the sigma first! I'm a Ruger man all the way though. Price is what breaks the tie! GOD BLESS!

  • @TheDaytonDevil

I hear you buddy, it's a lovely thing when Smith offers the $50 bucks or two free mags!

  • I picked up the P95 at a gun show once just because I wanted to see how it felt in my hand. I really dig it!

  • @huttwigley2

You should pick one up buddy... it's calling you, it loves you, it wants to go home!

  • I never had or shot a P95, but I do love my S&W 40VE :)

  • @OldSchoolAmerican

If you love the Sigma, I'm sure you'll enjoy the P95. And for right around $300, it's a nice pick up.

Your comment made remember a comment i read when I was first thinking about getting my Smith. The guy said "I love this Smith and no one can tell me not too ... Glock sued Smith because Smith built a cheaper and better Glock."

I believe that was one of the final points that pushed me over the edge.

  • both good choices on a budget ..

  • @ITHINKUREALESUK

Nothing better! Unless you're only looking for carry options, then I'm thinking Kel Tec or Ruger, their small carry offerings.

  • yo im loving that black ruger p95

  • @dajuan1104

I'm surprised you havent' copped one yet with the arsenal you got brewing over there! Hows the AK treating you?

  • @GunznPoker .lol..i got the two tone one ...p95dc

  • Thanks for the vid! I don't own either one of these, nor do I want to! LOL!

  • @depoeslew1

lol... Come on now! You have to get at least one!!!

  • ruger

  • Great vid...I own the P95 great gun for someone on a budget that wants a good handgun and like brotherkeepers111 said its built like a tank

  • @67euroVdub

Thanks... glad to hear you enjoy your P95. Question for you, how long before it ran flawless for you? It took mine around 200 rds or so before it was perfect.

  • @GunznPoker I had to failure to ejects in the first 50 rounds and after that its been flawless got around 1000 through it now and no problems since those first 50

  • The first handgun I ever purchased was a Ruger P89dc built like a tank never had a jam the Ruger is a pain in the ass to break down but for the money either one would be a good choice for a first time buyer that doesn't have a lot of money to spend I would not recommend carrying either but they are inexpensive and decent home defense pistols

  • @JesseLJohnson

I agree 100%! IMO, they're both great budget guns and a terrific to get into shooting.

  • Great video man, my choice is the Ruger, built like a tank

  • @brotherskeepers111

Thanks brotha! Yes it is! No wonder it's my Robocop gun, lol.

  • i own a p95 and i absolutly love it. i have been wanting to get a sigma for a while now. i think im going to get it in .40 cal defenitly. great video thanks for the comparison.

  • @elmajiko420

Thanks a lot. My Sigma was 2nd gun I ever owned. I love it and most ppl I know who actually own a Sigma love theirs as well. Overall, it's a very well built gun... esp when dealing with the VE versions. Let me know when you pick yours up!
