If you have ever nearly died, or had a near death experience, it can change you in ways that are hard to imagine, but it does change you. It's pretty deep. I think that the statements made here are made by someone who obviously has never experienced any of these things, and therefore, his commentary is limited to his own opinions, which we all have a right to.

I agree to a point, i just dont understand, if you are in the hospital, and you flatline... you are dead right, but when they revive you, arent you considered to have died and come back? Does this make sense? Or does everyone only ever die once?

I think the MOST it can be considered (i.e. NDEs) is that they are "visions" which can be from God or the Devil or just yourself. If you were truly dead you would be asleep til the last day when you are resurrected unto life everlasting or unto damnation and thrown into the lake of fire (which is called the SECOND death).

The judgment that comes after you die from your point of view is right after, but for everyone else time has passed to the last day when in time it actually takes place.

actually they did have judgment, have you heard of the life review? the life review is the judgment or assessment of their life. the general rule is you die once, but sometimes there is ressurection from the dead, that was even in the bible.

I don't think you know. Most NDE's don't go very far IE not judged yet. They see themselves, hear someone say, 'Not your time" and go back" after feeling great peace. When one is in the presence of God peace I'm sure is felt UNTIL judgement. So You are partly right but you just don't know. I've heard of NDE's where they were on their way to hell and was told was not their time. They came back changed and are now saved.

If it isn't scribbled down in their book then it simply is not possible. How long do we have to play this game with these kinds of people? Near Death Experiences are experiences mostly by people who are clinically dead. About as "dead" as one can get. And that is when they have the experience and come back. And there have been so many accounts, overwhelmingly, that have no such "judgment" or "damnation". Many never see a deity, only their ancestors. So this guy is really full of it.

... guess there's only one way to find out then is there? You claim to "know" more about this than Pastor James but it will be more likely that when you die, you will wish you had not been so close-minded. Say what you will but unless you DIE (ie. not "clinical" death) than you will never really know if your theory is correct or not. Clinical death is NOT the same as death. Once you die, that's it buddy... good luck and I wish you the best.

@intheechoofangels No need to claim, apparently I do know a lot more. So when I die I'll hope I was more "open-minded"? Funny how you can mention that, yet see just how close minded this sheep-herder is. Death is DEATH, no matter if it is clinical or "real". If that is not the case, then how "dead" do you have to be and be truly "dead"? And death is never the end, it's only the end of one chapter, and the beginning of the next. So yes, good luck in whatever venture you may take.

I am talking rotting corpses here, not just out for a few minutes then brought back. James is a great preacher; however he is wrong when he says "if they had died they would be at the judgment." The instant we die we are in heaven (if your saved i.e. born again)or in hell. An ensample of this is Luke 16:19-31. The Bible speaks of two judgments, 1 is the great white throne jgmt (Rev 20:11-15) for the lost, those already in hell awaiting final jgmt. The other is the Judgment seat of Christ (for the saved) to determine their gain or loss of rewards.(Rom 14:10 & 2Cor 5:10)

Many of these people have been reported clincally dead, no brain waves etc. As far as science & the med field they where as dead as dead could be for periods sometimes lasting over 3 days. However I would say that due to descripancies between experiences there may be some deciet envolved. Maybe they r lead to think one thing or the other so when they do come back they r mislead into not honoring christ & instead a perception they took as the truth by a decietful force. Studied this 4 years now.

I wonder if you've done any serious investigation of NDE's. You say it's a dream w/o any investigation. It's almost blind faith. There is so much literature on past lives, etc. and since your church's interpretation is only 1 life, end of story. There are many church's that hold of reincarnation.

The Bible has been proven to be true and accurate on history, science, nature, and human nature. So you can be sure its equelly true in the spiritual. Reincarnation comes from hinduism and paganism.

I dont understand, it says in genesis that the earth was made before the stars. maybe that will be proven correct one day but the consensus today is that the earth came a long time after the stars. Also that gay people should be stoned to death - do you agree with that? Lotsa other stuff. Im comfortable calling it God inspired but "true and accurate"

about stoning, there were many rules in the Old Testament that are not practiced today, in the New Testament times such as stoning of those who take God's name in vain. we live in the NT times, not the OT.
