I think the North American Union is a good form of equality, & it doesn't mean the American laws & the code of freedom won't be demolished we will still be the United states but with a more economical business with Canada & Mexico.

my cousins are in the marines, they think this is gonna fail, this isn't Europe, they think there will be a HUUGE argument between the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Europe is not as strong as the Eurocrats would have you believe. One whiff of trying any "real" takeover and it would collapse in an hour in Brussels alone. It's merely propaganda for the rest of the world.

@THEFRANKLINFILM Agreed. People seem to forget Europe has experienced more wars and more death and destruction than any continent on earth. This is at best a temporary cease fire. Look at a map of Europe. What you see are a bunch of countries packed in tight against one another like a bunch of rats in a coffee can. It's a veritable recipe for conflict.

Well in EU I think it's a big leep towards one goverment when they have desided to ban each countries presidents from EU meetings only allowing foreign ministers to attend meetings.

Why in earth does EU need a PRESIDENT?

I'm Not sure if your agreeing with this Union because you don't come out clean and say you are or just explaining why and the benifits of a north american union but I'll say this, you can't compare the european union to this proposed NAU,american lives in a society where we vote on acts like this, they did this behind closed doors and denied it, it's different time now from when that union was constructed sir..it's Uncomparable at best

so I'm sure you know this but just in case, the EU president said on BBC that 2009 marks the beginning of Global Government with the G20 meeting and Climate Treaty. We are already in the beginning stages. The NAU is so it makes it easier for them. I'm saying this because I believed that we would see the NAU before world Government and it looks like that is not the case.
