  • Thank you all. I have a small fear of that happening to my rat.

  • I have this fear that if I take my rats outside (even if they're on my shoulder) a bird will pluck them up and take them away. I'm paranoid like that. Still, this is a very cute video :)

  • it would have to be one brave bird!!, I don't think you need to worry about that ever happening!

  • awww he's adorable! I loved takin' my boys outside. They didn't need a leash either. Everytime I'd walk away from them, they'd run after me, hehe.. I sure do miss them :)

  • Awwwh... he's cute... and big! :D

  • Thank you. He's in a tank by himself. So he gets extra love and treats.

  • Why by himself?

I have three rats! The third one, in my video, I have only had her for 2 days.. she's very sweet.. but one of my female rats doesn't like her.. she got quite aggressive and bite the baby in the neck :( .. so I have the babygirl in a tank by herself.. Do you have any suggestions what I can do to make this easier? I want them to live together in the big cage :( /Maggi

  • He's by himself because I don't want any more unplanned babies. If you put the ratties together slowly on mutual ground, not in the same tank in a place out of the tank. First for a few minutes, praise them. Then keep putting them together for longer each time. Eventually they should get used to each other. Google rat care and it should give you some more info.

  • I understand. I have two boys that can chase him, should he decide to make a run for it. LOL>

  • whoa...no leash?? my rats always need leashes, they run reallllly fast

  • He won't wear the leash. He's a Momma's boy. He stays real close to me.

  • ohhh thats pretty awesome, only one of my rats i would trust without one but i just dont wanna take the chance.
