That movie was so horrid. The movie has no theme and fails to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys. Typical boring CGI film written by soulless Hollywood writers that have no idea that the people of America still want to see good triumph over evil and don't really give a hoot about the cgi and special effects. Shame on you for making this movie, and shame on you for tainting Clash of the Titans as well.

This movie is the absolute worst. It is truly a rainbow inspired skittles commercial. Casting was horrible. The story was proposterous. And the movie marketing staff is manipulating all the comments here. This movie grade a suxs more than a Dyson vacuum....stay AWAAAYY from it dont even rent.
I loved this film, hell, I'm going watching it again, easily one of my favourite films of the year. I know people love the original, but in reality to what I think Conan should be like, I love this one so much more. I actually think they got the casting perfect in the film.

I honestly enjoyed it despite not caring for the new Conan up till the last 30 minutes I wanted to walk the fuck out... It did have alot of good potential to be superior and in some aspects it is.. But I don't like leaving the theater forgetting every spoken word from néw Conan And action edited so fast and sloppy especially in 3d made even my eyes bleed cgi blood..

I didn't go into this looking for it to be a close remake to original. It had a lot of humor in it and was pretty fun. If you go into a Conan movie looking to be intellectually entertained -- you were in the wrong movie. It was more than a hack and slash; but not by a lot. Mamosa was cool in it (I remember him from Stargate Atlantis), but truly - I loved kid Conan the best. The egg race was beyond fun and would have loved to see even more of his relationship w/his Dad Ron Perlman.
the actors were ok...even M.Freeman as narrator!!...but the script and director blew bangkok trannies. Jason mamary's couldnt be any prettier...with his long beutiful hair it felt like an extended shampoo commercial....the story sux'd overall it felt artificial and forced. Kids and Teens will probably like it but anyone older than 25 will find it boring without any story or character. It's pretty much 2hrs of mindless violence and constant action without purpose that is the norm for movies of today. 6.5/10

I just saw it and it was like I was watching Hercules or Zena warrior princess. It just didn't seem believable with Conan (and everyone else) seeming so educated and well spoken with perfect grammar too. The Beast Master was a better movie then this remake so it's nowhere near the masterpiece that was the original Conan was.
This movie was so much I could of wished for and MORE. Jason Momoa was the PERFECT Conan the movie started out great and only got better and better the movie never felt slow or boring at all like some parts with the original Conan. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who Plays Age of Conan or is a Fan of Conan is general go see this movie you will not be let down.

I think Arnol's Conan and Jason's Conan can co-exist in the same universe. I'm a fan of Conan period. At the time, Arnold's version was all we had for a movie so of course many of us are loyal to it. It was a good movie.
I think this one will be good too. As long as Conan isn't walking around with a dwarf and a magic sword, and as long as Grace Jones and Olivia D'Ablo stay FAR far away, I'll be happy to be treated to another tale of the Cimmerian.

@WBWhiting No, it's based on the ancient egg race of the Easter Islanders. Like most Polynesian people they were a fierce warrior society. So it makes sense, food is scarce in some places, and Cimmeria is supposed to be such a place, and egg races demonstrate agility, although traditionally you had to FIND the egg... on top of a mountain or cliff.
You think the clip is edited? It was pretty badass, but not as badass as everyone else seems to be saying with all the overblown swearing, caps lock and exclamation points. lol Personally, it was violent, but definitely not bloody enough for me.

@Darkcul Darkfart no one cares what happnd to the 4th head it's an epic fail scene...starting at the first tomato squishing noise from about 1:45 to 2:05......even the sound effects are epic fail....tomato squish foot stabbing....tomato squish chest stab...tomato squish head to the floor(plus eyeball popout <--yea sure)...tomato squish leg stabbing.....then finally tomato squish just for stnding up(i think that was 12yr old pooping)...lstly Im bringing a tomato for the screen if this sux. I think Arnol's Conan and Jason's Conan can co-exist in the same universe. I'm a fan of Conan period. At the time, Arnold's version was all we had for a movie so of course many of us are loyal to it. It was a good movie.
I think this one will be good too. As long as Conan isn't walking around with a dwarf and a magic sword, and as long as Grace Jones and Olivia D'Ablo stay FAR far away, I'll be happy to be treated to another tale of the Cimmerian.

Some of us would like to see another retelling but this over the top "300" style "this is sparta" bowlchit just won't come close to the original well balanced tale....regardless of how close it stayed to original stories or not. This bowlchit is already showing signs of wackness and ridiculousness from right here.

@WBWhiting No, it's based on the ancient egg race of the Easter Islanders. Like most Polynesian people they were a fierce warrior society. So it makes sense, food is scarce in some places, and Cimmeria is supposed to be such a place, and egg races demonstrate agility, although traditionally you had to FIND the egg... on top of a mountain or cliff.
