Hi, im sorry for your loss, I have a beautiful white angel also, her name is Zoe and she is 4 years old, Sally is a beautful dog, German Sheaprds have been i my life for over 20 years, recently ive had to put my black and tan shepard named Jake to sleep aged 13 as he had suffered a tumour which had burst, right up until the day before he died he was still agile and chasing trains, i miss him with every passing day so i can feel your pain, time will heal but the memorys will remain

Have you gone on to blessing another animal who needs you yet? I hope so. She looked so healthy otherwise--just her hips were bad? I hear that medicine most often given for hip pain kills the dog's liver along the way. All of us blessed with a Shepherd understand your loss!
My Luna had hip dysplasia but died of a fever at the vets office. I couldn't even be with her when she passed in the middle of the night. I feel so horrible about the loss I still cry about it almost every day. Luna was my only and best friend. I suffer from debilitating depression and anxiety from a lifetime of abuse and Luna was the only one I ever trusted. When she first passed, every time I turned around she was there for a second and disappeared. I needed sedation after she passed.
i dont get it but my puppy well dog but he was small he was fine one week and then he kept falling and wouldnt eat and move he was so healthy and then we had to put him down and i miss him so much
we just had to put down our friend and familey member of 9 years on 5/13/11 for the same reason,he had the mind and heart and soul of a pup, but his legs also failed him,white shepards are in my opinion the most loyal and loving of all breeds,we also feel the emptyness of our home with him gone,i truely hope Harley and Sally are playing together in that special place god has set aside for his most knoble creatures

Luckily the white german shepherd survived in USA and Canada. In 1970 a swiss woman bought a white male dog in Canada and breeded white shepherds in Switzerland. Since 2003 in Europe this "new" breed is known as Berger Blanc Suisse (White Swiss Shepherd). But it's the same breed as the coloured GSD.

Sorry to hear about your loss... I've lost my german shepard a few months ago totally unexpected (stomach torsion) He was 9,5 years old butin such a good shape so way too early to leave us. We now have since last saterday a white shepard, she's a real sweaty though it's still hard sometimes, no barking etc :(
I am so sorry for your loss of your WGS. I just lost my WGS, Molly, on june 9th 2008. We lost her due to spleen and liver cancer. We tried saving her but she didnt make it thru surgery. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had a dog that looked like this. Pink nose and all. He had bigger paws because he had some wolf in him. Sorry for your loss.
