@sidvicious36 Here's what I heard: at some point (in the 1970s?) GL was thinking there'd be 9 films, he made 4-6 and then said no more, then he made 1-3. Because of the expanded universe, he can't make 7-9 without adhering to it. However, he also has 2 seasons of a TV series (set in the 19 yrs between 3 and 4) that they've already shot and he's just sitting on it. wiki "star wars live action tv series" for more info.
