I love this video. It's the first time i see it. Johnny is fantastic and i love the way he says "you don't smoke?" and "hey man, you are touching me...". He is hilarious!
I got a tv eye is from the Iggy Pop and The Stooges song from the same name. Jim Jarmusch is a big Stooges fan and so is Depp. I think it's hilarious and meant to be picked up by fans because the song is very abrasive and it's being used as a mantra. Jarmusch irony.
This is a hilariously funny, very "tongue-in-cheek" comedy! I love the way it drips with sarcasm and how it addresses the fickle-state of hollywood! all the actors/ actresses that participated in this movie did a fantastic job at poking fun at the industry. thanks so much for posting this, its one of my favourite scenes from this movie! :) cheers!
I finally posted this scene. Here we are 12 years after Susan Shapiro directed this scene outside the Hotel du Cap, with Seymour, Francesco, Jim and Johnny. It's hilarious, improvised, and a highlight of "Cannes Man." I'll continue to post clips of it when I have the time, but it's a gem that most people haven't gotten a chance to see. In honor of those who worked diligently on it over the years. Here she is.
